So my dad who had several strokes last year and my brother who has a brain tumor are both diabetic, and have been without power for three days, the weather in michigan has been particularly rough, anyway they have no way of keeping their medications,including the thousands of dollars worth of insulin cool without buying gas for the generator their neighbor lent them. they are on fixed incomes.

Anyway, they are asking me for $350 dollars to pay for gas and water to prevent the several thousands of dollars of medication they have from going bad. I do not have $350, so if you would like to help me keep my dad and brother from dying or being royally fucked you can donate here

My friend has requested I emphasize just how urgent this is. Here is some context:

My friend has experienced some of the most horrific abuse I have ever heard of. She has been continuously physically and psychologically abused, she has been starved, had her abuser attempt to murder her on multiple occasions, been forcibly hospitalized, swatted, financially abused, and abused in a way that is extremely unsanitary, in which her abuser intentionally created a hazardous environment with the intent to kill her, repeatedly, over and over again throughout the course of my friend's life.

My friend is in a horrible situation that will not get better without help. I would really like to ask my followers to reblog/contact her if you have a couch in the DC, MD, or VA area. She is a black bisexual person on the brink of homelessness. This is extremely urgent!

Dustin Higgs is a Maryland based artist on Death Row for a crime he did not commit -

He was convicted and sentenced to the federal death penalty as an accomplice to the 1996 murders of Tanji Jackson, Tamika Black and Mishann Chinn. It was the first federal death sentence handed down in Maryland in the modern era.

Dustin was not the person who actually shot the three women. Nor was he an accomplice. In fact, it was Willis Haynes who pulled the trigger, and he was sentenced to life in prison plus 45 years after a separate jury spared him the death penalty for the crime. With the resumption of federal executions in 2020, Dustin's life is at serious risk.

He is sentenced to be excecuted on Jan 15. 2021. 3 days before MLK Day and just 5 DAYS BEFORE THE NEW FEDERAL ADMINISTRATION IS PUT IN PLACE

Sorry if this isn’t allowed again so soon but it really helped before.

2 black homeless people from Philly desperately need shelter for at least 1 night. We toughed out 1 snowstorm and nearly froze and we just can’t do it again. We also are both very sick and have health problems that are getting worse. There are no places that can help or house us and our health issues have led to us getting kicked out of public spaces.

We need $200 for 1 night at a hotel, the deductible, food, and health supplies for 1 night.
