Abortion only affects one class of people- females, women, AFABs- whatever you want to call them, it doesn’t change that it only affects these specific people. My birthday is coming up and I figure what better way to celebrate than to create a new blog with a feminist perspective?!

I've been struggling with this for a while- While I don't entirely like the feminist label (for reasons I'll explain later) I still believe that feminism (and veganism) is the way to go. But I have a ton of other interests and I love media, SO I figured: why not make a horror blog with a feminist perspective?!

I know it's outta the blue, but I've been holding it in my head for a few weeks now, and I figure starting here would be cool. I've been let down lately with recent news, the bleakness and violence from pro-lifers that I figured I should do something I enjoy, especially since I have more free time now.

Part of the inspiration is from @feminismandmedia. I want to do something like them, but more... zombies/thriller/horror. Discuss the problematic issues like Split and so on! They're the ones I gotta give credit to, as I love their content SO much.

I'll slowly become more active on @pro-choice-character-of-the-day as well. I know I've been lacking there, but hopefully this break will help me out of the funk I've been in.

I don’t agree with what he does when they are wrong, and when he does something right that is good. What is shown here is wrong, and we can use that to try and understand him and help him when he is wrong.

Thing is, that’s GREAT if he was open to it. But some people are just wrong. And want to be wrong. There’s nothing to help him with- He asked for a discussion, and this is what he was thinking in his mind the entire time. 

You guys are also being hypocrites when you say that abortion is your choice and that you can handle your own actions but when someone else sins you guys want to judge him and hold him accountable when that isn’t your place just as much as it isn’t his place to judge you and call someone a slut and so on. It seems you don’t like the same treatment given to someone else, isn’t that right?

Advocating rape (which is violating bodily autonomy) and pedophilia (which is again, violating bodily autonomy) is not the same as MAINTAINING bodily autonomy. 

Someone having an abortion is literally the opposite of someone maliciously advocating the other two. I would watch the comparison, if I were you.

By the way, I suffered rape as well, held under house arrest by someone who I should have trusted but instead abused me continuously for four years. I am not allowing abuse I’m just saying if we can try and understand the root of it all, just by trying to understand each other’s views in a peaceful manner, maybe we can start getting somewhere instead of repeating this so-called cycle you are so tired of.

What about protecting people/minors on this site from men like him? Clearly he’s not the peace-admiring kind. In fact, if anything, he liked your peace because guess what? It’s allowing him to stay and continue these actions.

I’m not using my belief to be a tool of anything, just to be helpful in my own way. You can choose to believe whatever you want, that is your action and you can be accountable for that.

First off, I don’t see myself as religious. Second off, nobody deserves to burn in hell. It’s funny you would that say that you, yourself, would want someone to burn when you don’t even believe in a God, but you make an implication that you believe in a hell. 

Hate is a terrible thing, and it makes problems where there shouldn’t be any. Why should we spread hate when we can spread good and better things instead? 

This guy apologized to me, so I’m sure he isn’t a monster. He made his choices, he made his mistakes and it’s up to him to be accountable for his actions just as much you and I have to take account of our own actions. I will not shun this man, I will not block him or report him and tell him to go and burn.  It’s not my place to judge him in that way only God. 

If you want to block him and report him, go on right ahead but I will choose to be forgiving and do my best to understand him and his actions because I believe everyone deserves a chance. I don’t want anyone to burn. I even don’t want you to burn. There is no reason for me to want anyone to burn in such a gruesome way. 

I’m sorry that you choose to toss God aside when he has done so much for you. But that is your choice, and I can understand the reason you would think like that. You are misguided as to what the Bible teaches, and it’s up to you to change that or not. 

Everyone has free will. It’s good to use that free will, but how it is used is what matters.

Also, I am ambivalent towards the beliefs. My idea of god/goddess is not an all knowing, all good master, but rather a concept. My saying "please hope he burns" is my asking you to hold him accountable, even in your religious beliefs. Religious just means a person of faith. I'm not going to say how religious. Because clearly, your forgiveness/passiveness/compliance comes from a place of religion.

But again. My point stands. Religion being used as a tool of compliance is something I'm extremely tired of. Religion used for bigotry is tiring. Religion used to look the other way is pointless.

So, for you to refuse to report/block/shun says a lot about you. As someone who through suffered rape, I cannot be around those who would passively allow these men in their groups. It's unfortunate how unsurprising it is now though.

Free will was given to us to we could be proactive with our actions and in aid of other people. Not to passively allow the abuse.
