Hey! Is the hoya that you found in the trash still alive?
She is!!
She's looking pretty good, though she has shed a lot of branches, I'm assuming the roots on those parts were too damaged and died off so the branches slowly dried up and died too. I've also been a bit cheap on the watering with her, I don't want to overwater her and get gnats 💀 So that might be why shes a little dried up
But she has some new growth at the top and at the bottom! I accidentally broke a tiny leaf off her cause I thought it was dirt, I wasn't expecting her to grow soo my bad but I hope she forgives me???
Yes, I got my mossball an air pump thingy and a thermometer
As you can see, my string of hearts has many branches at the bottom, but pretty thin at the top rn, which is bad for her so I have to snip snip
I measured it and it was around 80cm long btw
I watered my lithop (after maybe 3+months of drought) last week
Okay so.. I got a new calathea
She was on discount for having a bunch of yellow and crispy leaves, she looked pretty bad but I found no spidermites or anything, so I wanted to save her. I cut away all the bad leaves, sadly it was a loooot of new growth that was looking bad, only the mature leaves were healthy. I think she looks beautiful, but I don't know how long she will survive. Unfortunately I didn't take any before photos, but look how cute she was last night while sleeping!
You know I don't have the heart to prune my plants without saving some of it
Lovely. I wonder what growing media this is?
It's just leca and water, that's what I use for propagations to promote their roots instead of just having water! I haven't tried it on jade plants yet so we'll see how it goes. Usually for planted jade plants I use normal soil mixed with sand in a small pot (jade plants tend to have small root systems for some reason)

I forgot to water her 😬 hope she forgives me

"It cries when it rains"
That's what I heard about pothos before I knew what the plant was even called. I love rain, so this intrigued me. Over the years I acquired three pothos from stores, and they did cry, but not when it rained just when they were watered sometimes. Then I got a fourth pothos, but this time it's a cutting from a very old plant. And guess what it does?
