Unfortunately, Kazuakiās narcolepsy and clumsiness often put him in dangerous situations; and this was one of those times.Ā
The professor had fallen asleep on his way out of class, causing him to tumble over and hit his head on the side of the doorway. All of his students had disappeared for lunch, meaning he had no one to turn to.
After a minute or two, he gathered enough strength to stand up. He didnāt feel much pain, just dizziness, and didnāt even realise he injured himself until he placed his hand atop his head and felt the sticky red liquid.
After some thought, he waddled through the hallway and opened a door to what he assumed what the infirmary.
āEehh.. Iwamine?ā He mumbled, his tired eyes scanning for the doctor. It was a miracle that he made it here unharmed.
Stacks upon stacks upon stacks of work - that was what had greeted Shuu when heād come into work that morning. Though he would have rather, of course, found a new student to cut into, Shuu was a bird of diligence - and he was also smart enough not to try anything risky while the day was still young, so signing papers until a student came complaining to him about injury it was.
A student⦠Or a clumsy maths professor.
āMr. Nanaki.ā He didnāt bother with properly looking up from his work, a quick glance at the other telling him all he needed to know - heād managed to fall and hit his head again, if the bright red dripping from the otherās grey-scale hair meant anything. Either that or Nanaki had managed to fall in a bucket of paint, which Shuu wouldnāt exactly put past him - the otherās dopey attitude knew no bounds. āHow did you manage to injure yourself this time?ā
"I think I must've fallen asleep on my way out of class, you see.." Nanaki smiled sheepishly, appearing rather oblivious. He was clumsy, but intelligent. Was this a real issue? Or was he harassing Shuu on purpose? He knew the doctor had more important matters to attend to, that's for sure.
He still felt a hint of dizziness, but the pain was fading fast. Even so, he couldn't return to his next lesson with endless blood drizzling down his face, despite his students being accustomed to him in this odd state.
"Am I bothering you?" The professor asked with a sudden assertive tone, peering at the doctor and his work from a safe distance.
