i think the reason i care so deeply for others is because i know how it feels to think no one cares at all, and i don’t want others to feel that way

Thought I share this. I work in corrections, and I have a little technique I use. To help me gain order I will simply yell 'TROUBLE!' When I do that, the inmates have to drop what they are doing, line up, be still and face me. I can't tell you have great this works just for searches count times, to get inmates ready to cuff up etc. This took a little practice but it has been so helpful.
