Hello! I realized you can now make pinned posts (when the heck did that happen?) so I’d figure it’d be nice to make a quick introduction post for anyone who stumbles upon my blog!

My name is Charlie. I’m 31, non-binary (though femme-presenting), and queer. I have many hobbies including: playing video games, painting, hiking, watching horror movies, and journaling. I am 420-friendly and an introvert at first but an extrovert once I warm up to you. I am open about mental health and my life-long struggles with depression, anxiety, and a bi-polar disorder my therapist and psychiatrist can’t seem to agree whether I have or not lol.

My family unit live in Ohio, USA, and consist of:

** Sage (30, my partner)

C (12, my son) - lives in NYC with his bio father during the school year and stays with Sage and I during the summers in Ohio

O (10, my son) - lives in NYC with his bio father during the school year and stays with Sage and I during the summers in Ohio

Twilight (3, our cat)

** Sage is not the biological father of C and O but make no mistake, he is every bit their dad. He has been in their lives since they were 6 and 4, and have provided for them over the years like any father would.

I have used Tumblr on and off to journal about my life since 2009, however the older blogs didn’t survive. This blog I’ve been journaling on since 2012.

On here we get real about life. My content is mostly about Sage and I’s journey through life together, but occasionally I will talk about C and O when I feel it’s safe to do so.

I haven’t been on here to journal in quite some time, though I miss it.

In all truthfulness, since the kids came back home for the summer I have just been so busy and so EXHAUSTED.

I’m grateful and happy to have days filled with lots of activities going on, but by the end of the day I just want to go to bed and SLEEP. This leaves me no energy to even want to journal. I barely even play video games or read now which is a hobby I usually do (did?) every day.

We also started fostering a small kitten with A LOT of energy. We wanted to try out having another cat so our first cat wasn’t lonely during the day all the time. This foster kitten, who we’ve had the past few weeks now, has definitely kept our other cat (and us, let’s be real!) busy.

So yeah…. Life has been lifing and I’m just trying to make it through the next day with my eyes open. 😅😴

Someone on my Facebook that I don’t even personally know added me about 2-3 years ago.

The other day I saw them post a photo of their child COMPLETELY naked with only an emoji covering the genitals. The caption was innocent, with the mom saying how their kid was trying to “beat the heat” and stay cooled off from the heatwave we just experienced.

Like… I get how YOU wouldn’t see your child sexualized, and how you’d HOPE your child wasn’t sexualized by others, but this woman had over 2,000 friends on Facebook. And I thought… if she added ME two years ago without personally knowing me, who else has she just added that she doesn’t truly know who now has access to this photo? And with AI now so easily able to manipulate photos… yeah it turned my stomach upside-down. 🙃

Anyways I reported the photo a few days ago to hopefully try and get it taken down…. Crickets 🦗

Reported it AGAIN yesterday and still have not received any updates from facebook’s botting process or, you know, an actual human actually taking a look at the photo to take it down.

Reported it again today a THIRD TIME and hoping that at least goes through 😩

Facebook is literally ran by pedophiles and even their botting process cannot detect child sexual abuse material. You can have a young child completely butt naked with only an emoji covering their genitals and Facebook couldn’t give a fuck less.
