Maa Siddhidatri is worshipped on the ninth day of Navratri. According to Hindu mythology, Rudra worshipped Adi-Parashakti, the supreme Goddess of Power, when the universe began. Since she had no form, Adi-Parashakti appeared in the form of Siddhidatri from the left half of Lord Shiva. When this happened, Shiva came to be known as Ardha-Narishwar.
Ashtami or the eighth day of Navratri is considered the most auspicious day of the festival. On this day, Maa Mahagauri is worshipped. Goddess Mahagauri is known as the symbol of purity, chastity, and tranquility. All the nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped on this day.
Maa Kalaratri is the seventh form of Maa Durga, known for her fierce appearance and destructive power. According to legend, when Maa Parvati shed her golden skin to fight demons, she assumed the form of Maa Kalaratri.
The sixth day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Katyayani. The goddess rides on the magnificent lion and is depicted with four, ten, or eighteen hands. In most depictions, she carries a lotus flower and sword in her left hand and keeps her right hand in Abhaya and Varada Mudra.
The 5th day of Navratri is dedicated to worshiping Goddess Skandamata, the mother of Lord Kartikeya. This day is often associated with the theme of motherhood and blessings for children. Celebrations commonly include special prayers, rituals, and offerings to honor the goddess.
Maa Kushmanda is worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri. Maa Kushmanda is believed to be the creator of the world.
Maa Chandraghanta is worshipped on the third day of Navratri. She is one of the nine forms of Maa Durga and governs the planet Shukra. After marrying Lord Shiva, she started adorning her forehead with a half-moon or Chandra. Therefore, she came to be known as Maa Chandraghanta. She is the peaceful form of Maa Parvati.
The second day of Navratri is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Brahmacharini, who represents the ascetic form of Goddess Durga. Devotees perform rituals and prayers to seek her blessings for wisdom, peace, and spiritual growth.

Navaratri is an annual Hindu festival observed in honor of the goddess Durga, an aspect of Adi Parashakti, the supreme goddess. It spans over nine nights (and ten days), first in the month of Chaitra (March/April of the Gregorian calendar), and again in the month of Ashvin (September–October). It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Hindu Indian cultural sphere. Theoretically, there are four seasonal Navaratris. However, in practice, it is the post-monsoon autumn festival called Sharada Navaratri. There are 2 Gupta Navaratris or "Secret Navaratris" as well, one starting on the Shukla Paksha Pratipada of the Magha Month (Magha Gupta Navaratri) and another starting in the Shukla Paksha Pratipada of Ashadha Month.
