I'm Noctura (She/Her). I'm a 23 yo self-taught artist. My goal is to become a manga artist. I'm writing a dark romantasy story where the protagonists have to beat the ass of a bunch of eldritch horrors and a nefarious cult. (long story short)
Currently, I'm working on a Visual Novel called "In the depths of my Heart". It's a dating sim where the MC is a mermaid, the story takes place in the deep-sea. You'll be able to romance (or befriend/escape) the feared sea-wizard, Meras.
It's related to my main story in someway, like same universe but in another timeline, ykwim.

Ask for artists: I may be asking to the void but what social media are you using to post suggestive contents ? I don't mean actual spicy sex content or very detailed gore illustration, but ya know, most of my art pieces are in between, like not explicit enough to be posted on nsfw plateforms but also too explicit to be posted on ig or tiktok
I will never go back to X and I don't know if Bluesky is "safe enough" (like with the good vibes and ambiance of tumblr), deviantart seems dead and full of AI slop now :/
Sorry for the long hiatus ! I've been overwhelmed lately. I need to draw so much references sheets for Art Fight.
Anyway, here is my entry for mermay ! I started a little late, but I managed to finish on time ! It's been a long time since I'd drawn Anita (a month at most) I missed my girl soooo bad...
I want to draw Vladimir and Lance more often even though I know I need to focus on the main characters of the story (but since they are important antagonist, that's okay I guess ?)
About the two fishies: The one next to Vladimir at the botom left is a frilled-shark, the other one is a lancet fish ! All the Rosier members are based on deep-sea creatures !
Apparently, from what I hear people say, in the new Tumblr update, if someone reblogs your post and adds a comment of their own, that reblog is counted as a new post and it belongs to the reblogger. Not you. You, as the OP, do not get the notifications if someone else later reblogs from the person who reblogged your post with their own comment. You can’t see what comments people leave on the reblogs of the post you originally made unless they reblogged directly from you.
If this is actually true, it will just open doors for harassment. And also it takes the credits away from the OPs. Tumblr’s etiquette has always been “reblog don’t repost”. So this new update, if true, contradicts the whole core values of Tumblr as a community.
Respectfully, we don’t want this @staff @support @tumblr @changes please listen to your users.
I’d also like to clarify that this is what I hear from what a lot of people are saying, and it bothers me. But if I got anything wrong, I do apologize.
