ouugghhh making myself sick thinking about welt and bronya again. she's his student, she's his mentee, she's his successor. she's his daughter but he won't tell her that (doesn't want to overstep or make her uncomfortable, even though she feels the same). they're coworkers, she's continuing HIS franchise, and letting him help her along the way. she quotes him and recommends his training to other people. she's seen him as a vulnerable child and seen him as a vengeful killer. she is his legacy, though she chose to refuse his name. she surpassed any level of power he could've hoped to reach and then gave it back to him. she's everything he could never be. he is the hero of heroes in her eyes. she claims he needs no one to worry for him but visibly worries over his safety. she is one of the first and only people to refer to him by his true first name, outside of the doctors, in decades. they so obviously care for each other SO MUCH yet won't say a word. and now they're worlds apart.
she'll constantly be surrounded by the traces and life he left behind, yet never see welt himself. he'll see her face in people scattered across the galaxy, but never be anything more to them than a stranger.
