Hey! I’m terribly interested in going to ESF’s ranger school (next year). I was wondering if you could talk about how classes are set up? Like do you have all of them going on at once for certain time periods of the day, or are they more like three week intense courses? Hopefully that makes sense!! Congrats!
First off, so sorry Ive been Missing, busy working at a summer camp. Anywho, RS is worth every moment. You'll be taking ALOT od course work. Which makes sense cause you're basically doing two years of work in 9 months BUT the training and such that you get puts you ahead of a ton of the people already in the industry. We went to a big meeting in the spring and everyone was getting job offers right there. Why? because RS gives you all of the real world experience and skills that the company can use or build off of. The staff are amazing there and the campus is even better. I could go on for ages about it. If you want to talk off anon I am here to talk!
Because I havent posted in awhile. First semester was so busy but this one im going to do better with posting!

Wanakena Ranger School End of week Two. Time is flying and I am having so much stupid fun here I can't even begin to explain it.
Im just in love with Everything at this campus. My first week has went swimmingly and I feel right at home here. Cannot wait for the next few months of adventures, cause all that matters is doing what I love and loving what I do.
My life is just so blessed. Wanakena NY

Day 1-2
So arriving to Ranger School (RS) (Not Army Ranger, Forest Ranger) in Wanakena NY I fell right in love and at ease. The past few months I have been so exhausted and nervous and wound up and the whole ride to school I was slumming it, well as soon as I got my room key, I just knew I HAD to be here. So I get my room key and start moving in, meet my roomie and realize, wait something is wrong. Well it was, I was in the wrong room entirely, so I had to pack and move across the hall where I finally could get set up and relax into my room and wait for my roomie to arrive. When I did, it was just so great and so far has been really great. Tonight had to be the best bonding night yet though. I met a few people that live nearby me which is really weird but nice cause I have at least a ride home, hopefully, if I need one. Or at least a partial one. Any who after playing some intense volleyball and kickball in the 70 degree weather and eclipse we all went swimming and mad a fire. I am finally getting to know the faces and names and the 56 other students on campus. Also have already gotten my first homework assignment done so far I am doing good. Any who, 5 mile hike in the forest and some pictures to follow!
I move in sunday
And I am a bit nervous but excited for the new experience I am going to have. Stay tuned cause Wednesday is the first day of class meaning (with any hope) my first study post!
