The Cost of Living
As I grow old, I am gradually losing the tenacity to hate, but my ability to love progresses unmatched. When I try to be stronger, I might fail time and again, but when I try to be better, some unknown force lifts me in its lap. I see faces which glow as much in the day as they glow in the dark but they don’t reflect what hits them; they have been keen observers like me, absorbing every occurrence of good and learning from all that is bad.
