Occupation: Literature Major with Minor in Buisness at Heywood University Family: Older brother Ian Rossi. Mother Elizabeth Rossi. Father(deceased) Neil McCallister. Biography ;;
Whitney was what's most commonly known as a love child. Her parents had not planned for her at all, but from the moment she could understand the meaning of words, they told her how much of a blessing she was. She was a very happy accident. Growing up a Rossi meant that she never had to go wanting for anything. From the moment she was born, Whit has been a daddy's girl. Her father always seemed to see and understand her in ways her mother did not. He was always patient, gentle and supportive with her which made her seek him out first whenever she had anything troubling her or wanted a parents advice. Her father loved to spoil her with gifts, and her mother early on taught her to dress very feminine and like a proper little lady.
Despite her family’s wealth though, Whitney was never too materialistic. The only thing she purposefully had an abundance of, was books. Her biggest passion is books and storytelling. She has always disappeared into her books for comfort and entertainment alike both as a child and as a young adult. Whether it be old classics, historical fiction, romance novels or fantasy novels, she devours it all. Her secret dream is to become a writer herself and be able to publish books that would reach anyone who needs a literary world to escape to. From a very early age, you could always count on finding Whit on a windowsill or underneath a tree in the shade, reading a book often too big for her lap. As a child, she didn’t fully understand her family’s position and relevance to the town, but as an adult she is keenly aware of it. To her it is more of a burden than a gift, given that she despises being the center of attention. The only reasons she had for participating in all the community functions and events were and are because her mother always insisted on her being present and there to represent her family. Its not that she doesn't love her town or want to contribute, but she's very uncomfortable with the attention and her mothers insistence that she presents herself well to honor the family name.
Whitney has always been an introvert, and thus she doesn't like being recognized or given attention from others. However, being a pushover and a good girl/daughter, she mostly has always done what she's told to do for the larger parts of her childhood, teens and now adulthood. Growing up in New Bellevux Whitney knows every part of it well and she knows almost everyone who’s come to town in the last 5 years or more, or who has lived there their whole life such as she has. She is very friendly and always polite, making sure she treats those around her with respect. In part she wishes she had gone out and seen more of the world before settling on her current path in University, but she never had the courage to set out on her own for any travels. Attending the University started as a very positive experience for Whitney. She finally felt as if she was able to find likeminded people her own age and getting out of high school was something she had been craving.
Sadly, as Whitney completed her first year in Uni, her father died. She had taken two gap years and worked as a receptionist at her fathers office after high school. University had been a thrilling experience for Whit. But now it all came to a crashing stop. She applied for a leave of absence, needing time off to cope with the loss and following grief. His death hit her very hard, and she had to take some time off from school to cope with the loss.Her main solace was her older brother Ian, who came back to town permanently since their father had passed. Despite the 16 years between them, the Rossi siblings have always been very close. Trough all the ups and downs in her life Whitney has always been able to count on Ian for advice or support in its many forms. In turn she is fiercely protective of her brother and truly wants him to have the life he’s always dreamed of having.
It took two years before Whitney was finally able to continue her studies last year, at 23 years of age. Her bachelors degree in Literature is one she hasn’t given up despite her mothers vying about her taking up a more active role in the family business. She wants Whitney to be a face presented in connection with the company, but this is something Whitney has been quietly but persistently fighting against. To appease her mother, she added a minor in Business to her degree, hoping that would show that she was taking measures to be prepared should her family need her. Whit had been doing well and gotten back into the rhythm of student life but tragedy struck two weeks ago and has darkened the experience as Whitney's best friend Diana died in a freak accident. The loss has brought up a whirlwind of emotions for her and she feels bereft and lost, unsure how to go about life normally. She still feels off kilter without her dad and misses him immensely. Now more than ever she needs the support of her family and friends. Headcannons ;; (Short version of bio!)

Despite growing up as a Founding Family member and the only girl, Whit despises being the center of attention and only participates in all the community functions and events because her mother always insists on her being present. She doesn't like being recognized or given attention from others, being quite the introvert. However, being a pushover and a good girl/daughter, she mostly has always done what she's told to do. Since her fathers death her mom has also pushed harder for Whitney to show an interest in the Family business and be a face presented in connection with the company, something Whitney has been quietly but persistently fighting against.
