I don't know if they are counted as OCs or not since some of them technically exist, we've just never actually gotten to know them, and I've never actually drawn them or given them names but I've had ideas in my head and *might* try writing a fanfic, but it probably won't be very good cause I have no experience writing outside of school, so the names are just on the fly and whatever feels right, also shortened descriptions cause I don't want this reblog to be too long + this is like human au mostly, they obv exist as penguins the idea just came as humans first.

● Ashley (55y/o)- Skipper's, Kowalski's and Rico's mother, she's unsettlingly friendly and awfully charming, it's a bit off putting but she tries her best, she's a single mother who got dropped by every man she dated

●Steve (43y/o)- an avarage name for an avarage guy, he's a stereotypical avarage guy who likes 'Merica 🇺🇲 and Skipper's dad

●Tomasz (40y/o)- rich dude with an asshole attitude and Kowalski's and Private's dad (idk I looked up rich polish names and I liked this one the most)

●Pedro (38y/o)- co-owns a restaurant and is overall a friendly guy unless you mess with his kids or the love of his life, he's Rico's and Maria's dad

● Alejandra (41y/o)- co-owns a restaurant and is vaguely threatening until she really knows you, then the threat level goes up or down depending on what person you are, but you still have a feeling someone is watching you when you are near her kid, she's Maria's mother

●Maria (12y/o)- Rico's little sister- sweet but has anger issues (I just felt like he had to have a sister with the little comment in the 2nd madagascar movie)

●Anelia (40y/o)- teacher who does her best and has a supporting role overall, she's kind but strict, she's Private's mother (idk I felt like Private couldn't be British cause of the whole phony accent gig)

(Private just fakes a British accent, although he didn't lie when he said he was from Europe, most Americans just assumed he was British cause the accent and him saying he's from Europe)

Also I made Kowalski and Private half siblings in this universe because I felt it was awfully ironic and funny that Private is related to the one who told him "You don't have a family and we're all gonna die".

I might sketch the OCs later, idk, rn they're just concepts

I haven't finished this yet, but I wanted to share it anyway

My concept was to visualize how I see and feel the connection within this trio

Hizashi, as a public figure, obviously has pre-programmed cliches that he plays on autopilot, selecting and switching out tapes. He plays them for others, but he doesn't really have a 'tape' of his own, or perhaps he just has no one to play it for. It’s too painful for him to rewatch his memories of Oboro, which is why the tape containing this crucial person stays with Aizawa

Aizawa is the steadfast keeper of that single tape, deeply bound by the weight of this memory. His capture scarf is almost always with him, essentially becoming the personification of that cloudy film reel. He accepted this as a part of himself a long time ago, turning the memory into his anchor and compass

Yamada himself would be too terrified to look back and play something like this on his own; it's vital for him to stay afloat due to his media presence and his anger issues. Shota serves as the perfect counterweight here, providing him with a grounding, stable presence.

Oboro is featured here as a silhouette, elusive and completely recognizable. He only comes into existence while the tape is rolling

For the memory to actually play, you need Hizashi’s cassette player and Aizawa’s tape—only then does the blurred image of their past come alive.

I’d love to flesh out this concept and draw more of it, but I don't have the capacity right now. If you like this idea or want to use it, please tag/credit me as the author 🙏
