Isn't it strange how few kinds of touch are "normal"?
A hand on a shoulder, or an arm.
An arm around a waist.
Resting a head on a shoulder.
Cupping a cheek with a gentle palm.
They are nice, sure, sometimes wonderful. But sometimes they just aren't enough.
My want to touch you is so visceral that the palatable ways we've been told are acceptable aren't enough.
My hands wrapping around your face, all the delicate propriety stripped from the need to feel you under my fingers.
Holding you by the neck so that I can feel your pulse beating against my skin.
Pulling you flush against me so that I can feel the life in you against every inch of my body.
Pressing my fingertips hard into your skin because I just fucking need to be closer.
Normal isn't enough. Acceptable is pitiful. You are mine, so I will treat you as such, and all the world may envy.
