Hey y’all, I figured maybe now it’s time for an intro post!!

So I’m 19, she/her, y’all can call me anything as long as it’s not late for dinner (lol)

I’m super into whump but I’m also pretty new, I love writing but I suck at coming up with ideas so please give them to meee!!

My main goal on here is to have a whole story with a masterlist and all that jazz, I just don’t know exactly what to do yet, so maybe you guys can help me with that!! Everything on here will be sfw and I’ll do my best about trigger warnings for my stories!!! (Just let me know if I miss anything when I do it)

Imagine you work at some fucking roadside diner in buttfuck nowhere and you have to wait a table with three dudes who aren't from around here and the guy with the long hair immediately pulls out his laptop with what looks like cult shit in the web browser and asks for your worst salad option, and the guy in the trenchcoat sniffs the pepper shaker and declares the molecules to be very sharp and the guy with the greenest eyes you've ever seen calls you sweetheart and then proceeds to engage with intimate eye contact with trenchcoat to a degree that is downright indecent and then orders the heart attack special on your menu and every time you walk past their table they're talking about that gruesome murder that happened in town and the pretty guy is feeding the trenchcoat guy fries while the hair guy talks about desecrating corpses

Just watched cast away (2000) for the first time and the way the music is only used at the times when we need to feel is amazing. Idk if this has been remarked on before but throughout the entire movie the only time there is music is either when someone is listening to it and we hear it by default

Or

the emotions are so intense that the music is only there to amplify them. For example, music when he is finally leaving the island after nearly 5 years. Music when he loses Wilson. Music when he finally says goodbye to Kelly. The only time there is a soundtrack being used is when it is signifying him leaving something, letting it go, and that we as an audience need to let it go as well.

It is also worth noting that it is always the same song, the same soundtrack, so when we hear it for the last time, at the very end of the movie, we go to accompany it with the feeling of loss, but perhaps it was never the feeling of loss, and instead the feeling of beginning new.

My favorite thing is seeing a post on tumblr and being like “wow nice” and promptly forgetting it and then a couple weeks later I see the same post on Pinterest and I’m like “oh cool I remember liking this one” and forgetting about it again. But now people are putting it on instagram. I just saw a post on instagram that I saw on tumblr like 5 years ago. And I was like “oh yeah I forgot about this it was pretty funny”. But also. I’ve seen it 3 times now.

I was talking with my dad yesterday about how great Sherlock is and how masterful of a show it is and my dad just casually drops “yeah, I only watched up to the third season, I think it would have been a lot better without that cummerbund guy”.

Dad.

I think to sum up this experience he is cancelled because he says that banana cucumber shouldn’t be in the show but a little less cancelled because he pronounced his name wrong.

I just finished reading project Hail Mary in approximately 1 day and it sufficeth me to say that I have been changed. Obviously my schoolwork has not been changed but I am evolved just as the taumoeba evolved to nearly kill my most favorite person in the world (his name is Ryland grace) and I will never be the same
