Lightweight

Summary: Y/N Stark, surprisingly, has never gotten drunk in her entire life. After Sam makes a comment making fun of her for it, her pettiness gets the best of her, leading her to drag Peter into her quest to drink and possibly get drunk. Chaos ensues, and feelings spill out. “So you’re telling me, THE Y/N Stark, daughter of Tony Stark, has never even had a drink? Not even a sip?” Sam chuckles. “Shut up” You rolled your eyes, crossing your arms. Steve tries to hide his smirk, not wanting to seem like he’s an irresponsible adult encouraging you to drink. “Stop it, Sam. she’s not 21 yet, it’s okay. In fact, it’s better than okay” he shrugs.

You stick your tongue out at Sam, making him roll his eyes. “I would try it, but I’m afraid of my dad. That man has eyes on me everywhere. I can’t seem to get rid of it!” you groan. “Don’t even think about trying it. Don’t forget we ALL have eyes on you” Steve points at you. You nod, glancing at Sam, who was trying to hold back his laughter.

Despite of Steve’s warnings, you still were up for the challenge. All those times you tried to even approach the bar at one of your dad’s parties was like you approaching a bomb, with some Avenger or Happy dragging you away in a heartbeat. Sam’s teasing just made you even more eager, desperate to shake off that sheltered-rich-kid-who-hasn’t-done-wild-shit-normal-teenagers-do image people seem to have of you.

Needless to say, Peter was the first person on your mind as soon as you thought of your plan. Disable all cameras by your dad’s alcohol cabinet, sneak into the old common room, which has become you and Peter’s hideout, and get drunk there. 

“So, what do you say?” you excitedly grinned at Peter, who stared back at you with wide eyes. “Are you serious?” he furrows his eyebrows. “Your dad is going to kill me. Then you. I am not getting drunk with you Y/N. We’re not legal yet” he sighs. You frowned, taking his hand and holding it between both of yours. “Come on, Pete. it can just be me. I just wanna try it. Please?” you pleaded. 

Peter shook his head, letting out a deep sigh as he closed his eyes shut. “Fine. but can we please not get caught? I’ll just be there to make sure you don’t do anything stupid.” he leaned closer. You nod, pulling him into a hug. “If we get caught you can always swing me out of here” you joke, making him chuckle as he pulls away. 

“So, when are you planning this whole thing?” he quirks an eyebrow. You look down at your watch before looking back up to face him, a cheeky grin on your face. “Right now” you shrugged.

You took Peter’s hand, leading him to your dad’s alcohol cabinet. “Are you sure you disabled all of the cameras? Like all of them?” he asks, nervous as you opened it, grabbing 6 bottles of beer. “I replaced it with the footage of us building a LEGO imperial star destroyer from last week. We did that thing all night, he won’t suspect a thing” you explain, giving Peter three bottles before taking the other three. 

As you two step out of the elevator and into the old common room, you set the bottles down on the floor by your bean bags, both of you sitting down right across from each other. “How much are you supposed to drink before you get drunk anyways?” Peter asks. “I don’t know” you reply, cracking open the first bottle.

Before you could even take your first sip, Peter stops you. “What do you mean you don’t know? I don’t think this is a good idea” he hesitates, trying to get ahold of your bottle, but you move it away from him. “You’re not gonna drink, Pete” you say, finally taking your first sip.

“This is….bitter,” you gulp, taking a look at the bottle. “I think I like it” you say, continuing to drink it. Peter just sighs as he watches, standing up to grab a can of soda and a bottle of water from the mini fridge. When he returns, you’re already chugging it. “Slow down, drink some water.” he says as he sat back down, handing you the bottle of water.

You remain silent, opening your second bottle. “I said slow down, you cannot get drunk” he scolds you. “Isn’t that why I’m drinking?” you cock your head to the side. “No. maybe you’ll get tipsy, but that’s it. I can’t let you get drunk, Y/N” he replies.

But 6 bottles later, you’re already breaking into song and dance in the middle of having a conversation with Peter about whether he should change the color of his suit or not, what university the two of you plan to go to in the future, and other things that can be either really dumb or really deep.

Peter isn’t bothered by your interruptions, finding it amusing and adorable, absolutely forgetting that he needs to keep you in check. “Let’s play truth or dare” you blurt out, making Peter quirk an eyebrow at you. “You hate that game” he replies, making you pout. “Nah” you shrug.

“Okay. You first. Truth or dare?” he starts. “Truth” you choose, making Peter think of a question for a few seconds. “Alright. Do you like someone?” he asks, making you groan. “C’mon, Peter, that’s something a 12 year old would ask me” you pout. “But yeah, Iike someone” you add, making Peter’s face light up.

“Really? Ok, then skip me first. I dare you to tell me who you like” he insists. You nod, moving next to him to lean closer to whisper to his ear. 

“I like Spiderman” you whisper, making his eyes go wide. “W-what?” he stammers. “Shhh, if you tell him I’ll kill you” you sigh, resting your head on his shoulder. 

“I’m Spiderman, Y/N. I like you too---” Peter’s voice fades off as he realized you were already fast asleep, making him smile to himself. He sighs before scooping you up and carrying you bridal style to the couch nearby. “Goodnight then” he quietly scoffs as he pulls a blanket over you.

Summary: When things go south and the cops arrive at the house party you’re at, you find yourself stuck in a room with a stranger. Pairing: Tom Holland x Reader (college!au) Warnings: drinking, harrison says fuck but that’s it really lmao A/N: HELLO this is probably one of my favorites from all the fics i’ve written so far <33 i have no idea what college is like because 1.) i’m just a high school sophomore and 2.) i’m from a different country lmao but!! i did *some* research, so if any of this is wrong pls ignore i’m trying my best let’s focus on the fluff

Parties aren’t as often and wild as you expect. For one, everyone else is busy either stressing out over exams, or just simply enjoying some alone time in their dorms. But when it’s the night before the spring holidays officially start, everyone decides to let loose for a while.

“Hey, Y/N! So glad you could make it” Harrison greeted as you walked in. The room was crowded, and the blue and purple lights prevented you from recognizing anyone from far away.

“Hey! Sorry I’m late, I know the party already started like hours ago,” you chuckled. “It’s just a party, there’s no need to be punctual. Drink?” Harrison smiled. “Maybe later, I’ll go find my friends first” you reply, to which Harrison nodded.

As Harrison walked away, you were suddenly startled by someone poking your back, turning around to see one of your friends, Laurie. “Why are you just standing there? Come on, I’ll go get you a drink” she grinned, taking your hand and leading you to the kitchen.

“So, you doing anything on spring holiday?” she asked as she handed you a beer. You leaned on the counter, taking a sip of your drink. 

“I don’t know really, I might just stay here and enjoy finally having some actual sleep” you shrugged. “You can’t just stay in our old dusty dorm rooms forever,” she quirked an eyebrow. “Atleast do something fun” she sighed. 

“I’m not that boring, Laurie” you chuckled, taking her hand and leading her to the dance floor. 

You enjoyed the rest of the night, dancing and having a chat with a few people you recall meeting during orientation week. 

You made your way upstairs to the bathroom, walking through the halls. Suddenly, you freeze, hearing police sirens outside. “Fuck, cops are here,” you heard Harrison say from the stairs, “they’ll go away soon, but take cover” 

The lights turned off and the music stopped. The entire house went silent, taking cover. You groan, opening the door closest to you. Entering the dark room, your eyes widen upon discovering that the room was already occupied. 

“I, uh, sorry. Harrison told everyone to hide” you say, rubbing the back of your neck in embarrassment. “It’s fine. Close the door” he says, closing the blinds and sitting down on the floor next to the bed. You nod, closing the door behind you.

“So do you live here?” you ask, sitting down on the floor right across from him. “No, this is Harrison’s room. I just went to borrow a shirt since I got some beer spilled on it a while ago” he replied. “I’m Tom, by the way” he smiles, giving you small nod. “I’ve heard about you from Harrison. I’m Y/N” 

“Harrison’s parents are gonna kill him” Tom scoffed. “For sure. Why isn’t he letting them in anyways?” you ask. “I don’t know. Probably thinks they’re just here because some neighbor complained,” he shrugged.  “Looks like they’re not giving up though” 

“I’m starting to regret going here” you groan, leaning your head on the wall. “Calm down, they can’t arrest like what, 80 drunk kids for partying? It’s alright” he chuckled. 

“I guess you’re right” you mutter, standing up to grab the blanket from Harrison’s bed, draping it on your shoulders before sitting back down, this time next to Tom.

“So, how is college treating you” he asks, changing the topic. “Pretty good. My psychology class with Dr. Allen is wonderful. I never really thought I would learn so much about a person and actually be interested in their stories. College is definitely weird. I feel like I’m more happy here than when I was in high school, even though that’s not what people usually think” you rambled. 

Tom smiled as you rambled, geniuinely interested in listening to you. 

“I had psych with him last year. Failed his class so I dropped it” he chuckled. “Really?” you smiled, making the two of you break into a fit of laughter. “It’s not that hard, he’s a great guy like you said, I just wasn’t too interested I guess” he laughed. 

You and Tom talked for the next hour, sharing more stories about College and talking about your lives. 

You yawned as Tom was in the middle of talking about golfing, leaning on his shoulder. Tom smirked as he looked over, seeing you already fast asleep.

Suddenly, the door flew open, waking you up and startling the two of you. “Cops are gone, but party’s over” Harrison says, turning around, about to go back downstairs. He stops, however, looking back at the two of you. “Are you two….” he questions, quirking an eyebrow. 

“NO! Uh, we just, we just ended up here while hiding” Tom stammered, itching the back of his head. Harrison nodded, leaving the room. 

“Sorry for waking you up” he says. “It’s fine. We should go” you muttered, giving him a gentle smile. You placed the blanket back on the bed, getting ready to leave. But before you could stand up, you felt Tom’s hand on your forearm, pulling you back down. 

“What?” you raised your eyebrows. Tom lowered his lips to yours, kissing you. His thumb brushed your cheek as the kiss deepened, your hand on his shoulder. When he finally pulled away, a smile spread across your face, looking him right in the eye. 

“If it’s okay that I ask,” he exhales, cracking a smile. “What are you doing on spring holiday?”

“Ms. Y/L/N, someone’s here to see you.” your secretary says into the phone, uneasy. “Bring them in” you replied, going back to organizing your files. After a few more minutes, no one has still walked in your office, much to your dismay. 

“Sarah, where are they?” you walked out. Sarah just looked at you with wide eyes, unable to explain. Suddenly, a gust of wind swoop in from behind, making you turn around. “Spiderman? Seriously?” you exclaim. The masked hero spun around your chair, stopping to face you. “Hello”

You sigh, fixing your blazer and smoothing down your skirt before going back inside your office, closing the door behind you. “Never thought Spiderman needed a lawyer. What? You wanna sue the Daily Bugle?” you joked, sitting down. “Sorry about my entrance. And no, I don’t plan on that yet” he chuckled. “Then what do you want?”

He hesitates for a while, but stands up to close the blinds so no one can see you guys. “What are you doing?” you question, crossing your arms. Now facing you, he takes off his mask, making you gasp. “Peter Parker? From high school?” you whisper-shouted. He nods, sitting back down. “I’m getting sued by Vanna. Like OUR, Vanna.” he sighed.

You hold back a laugh, making Peter furrow his eyebrows. “What?” he asks. “I just,” you pause, “Why is Vanna Smith suing you?” you chuckle. Peter shrugs, “can I borrow your laptop? I’ll show you why. It’s ridiculous” he says, taking your laptop and going to Vanna’s blog. 

I wanna write my experience about the infamous person the Bugle’s been writing about. I already encountered him back in my senior year of high school, when the Vulture attacked. He was hiding right behind the bleachers, where I was sitting. Must have looking up our skirts. What a sicko.

I knew that he wasn’t done. I was at the New York Science Museum for an assignment a few weeks ago, when he suddenly came bursting out of the bathroom stall! The WOMEN’S bathroom. I, of course, defended myself. I hit him with my purse, demanding an explanation. But then some guy comes bursting in!

So I’m just like, “this is impossible!” he must be working with these weirdos just so he can impress me. He’s staging these fights, putting other people in harm’s way just for me. Weirdo.

And then yesterday, I was at the beach, when he was fighting that Sandman guy. Trying to act like he didn’t notice me. Pft, he was glancing at me. He isn’t so slick.

I’m suing him soon for harrassment, since the police is too busy worshipping the ground he walks on to even help.

After reading the blog entry, you looked back at Peter, breaking into a fit of laughter. “Holy shit, Peter,” you laughed. “Not surprised Vanna is still crazy to this day. This is absolutely ridiculous, you’re going to win in like 10 minutes” 

“So are you going to help me?” Peter asks. “Oh, I definitely will. This is my most interesting case yet. Hell, I’ll do it for free” you laughed. “Seriously?” Peter raises his eyebrows. You nodded, taking out papers for him to sign.

For the next few weeks, Peter came around more, visiting your office almost everyday just to “check on how the case is doing” when there’s not even much to look into.

“Seriously, Peter? You know It only took me like a day to gather all the “evidence” for this case.” you laugh as he walked in. “Actually, I was just, uh gonna ask you something” he says, sitting down in front of you. “After this, do you want to go to dinner?” he smiles.

“I don’t think It’s professional to date clients, Peter” you chuckle. “I’m only your client for now. We go way back” he shrugs. “Fine. but only if we win, got it?” you reply, a smile spread across your face.

On the day of the hearing, you went inside the courtroom, sitting in the defendant’s table. Vanna Smith looks at you with wide eyes, unable to form a sentence. “Hey, Vanna. Remember me?” you chuckle before turning around. 

The courtroom was full. Ever since news broke of the lawsuit, the media went crazy, sending you countless messages, asking for his true identity, and other uncomfortable, odd questions. Looking around, you scoff at the sight of J. Jonah Jameson, the Daily Bugle’s editor-in-chief, and Spiderman’s #1 critic.

“All rise for the Honorable Judge Lewis.” the Bailiff says, making everyone stand. “Thank you, please sit down.” he nods.

“Your honor, we have reason to believe Spiderman is harrassing Ms. Smith after a series of events that goes way back to high school,” Vanna’s lawyer starts. “Staging fights with these so-called “Villains” just to impress Ms. Smith?” 

“Spiderman has saved countless of lives in the past, with or without Ms. Smith’s prescence.” you argue, standing up. “Alright, you may call in your first witness.” Judge Lewis gestures to Vanna and her lawyers.

Everyone’s eyes widen as J. Jonah Jameson stands up, making his way the witness stand. “Mr. Jameson, do you believe that Spiderman is capable of doing this?” he asks. “Yes. absolutely, Spiderman is a threat, and seeing him chase over an innocent lady, putting her in harm’s way just to impress her? It’s not surprising at all.”

You walked over to him, “Mr. Jameson, you’re accusations against Spiderman has been proven false many times, and you’ve been recorded many times trying to frame him for profit. Your honor, Mr. Jameson should not be the one we should be relying on for this.” you argue. “That would be all, Judge Lewis.”

“You may call in your witness, Ms. Y/L/N.” 

A smile spread across your face, clearing your throat as you adjusted your blazer. “Your honor, with the court’s permission, I’d like to call Spiderman to the stand” you say, making everyone gasp — including Jameson.

Peter swings inside the courtroom, landing on the witness stand. “Let’s make this quick, I’m a busy man” he jokes, making you roll your eyes.

“This is insane! You’re not allowed to just show up in a mask! That’s probably not even him” Vanna exclaims. “You’re right. Which is why, Tony Stark let me borrow one of those Avengers issue scanners” Peter says, pointing at the box on your desk. You open it, holding up the scanner to his face.

SPIDER-MAN: CONFIRMED the machine spoke, making you smirk. “Now, Spiderman, are you intentionally staging these fights just to impress Ms. Smith?” you ask.

“Not at all. I don’t even know who she is.” he shrugs. “And are you intentionally putting civilians in harm’s way just to impress Ms. Smith, who you apparently don’t even know?” you quirked an eyebrow. “Of course not, I’ve been doing this for years, and the evidence that they presented, what, I’ve only done my job 3 times?” he scoffs, “I’m kind of offended, Ma’am”

Vanna and her legal team don’t even budge, remaining silent. 

You walked out of there with a bright smile, camera’s flashing in your face, bombarding you with questions. When you finally returned to your office, Peter was sitting on the couch, smiling. “Hey, winner” you chuckle.

“Hey, Y/N. Thank you, I actually feel bad for you doing it for free-” 

“Peter, stop” you cut him off. “It’s nothing for what you’ve done all these years to defend people. About time someone around here defended you. Give me a call, maybe I’ll face off with your boss next time” you smirk. ”Right,” Peter muttered as he sat on the edge of your desk. “But there’s another thing we still have to do”

You look at him for a few seconds, trying to recall if there’s something else Peter needed. Your eyes widen as you finally remember that deal you guys made, making Peter cheekily grin. “We were going to win anyways” you chuckle. 

“It’s a date then”

time management was like a talent of peter’s. he managed to be good ol’ friendly neighborhood spiderman while also managing to be a great student, and you always found that amazing.

but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t get hard at times. tony has been unintentionally putting pressure on the poor kid, constantly making him check in and telling him where he should improve — which made him lose track and more focused on his spiderman duties in an effort to impress tony and improve to be able to help more people, much to your dismay.

“peter, ms. stark asks for your presence.” karen suddenly spoke as peter was on his way back home. “not right now, i’m busy. tell her i love her and that i’ll make it up to her.” peter sighed. but you knew how stressed peter was and you weren’t taking no as an answer.

after peter went home and changed into his pajamas, he was startled after he heard a knock on his door. 

peter’s eyes widened as he opened the door and saw you standing there, your arms crossed. “that was an order.”

peter didn’t say anything, taking your hand instead and leading you inside. 

you and peter sat down on his bed, wrapping your arms around his waist as he wrapped his arms around you.

“i know you’re tired. i’m sorry about my dad, i already told him to take it easy.” you sighed, your head resting on his chest. “m’okay. just stressed about balancing all this school stuff with spiderman, y’know?” peter mumbled.

you looked up at peter before pulling away from him. “well, how can i help?” you smiled. “no, no, y/n it’s fine. i can do it. and don’t you need to get back to the compound? your mr. stark is going to kill me if he finds you here this late.” peter sighed, resting his hand on yours.

you shook your head, “nope. i’m here to help and take care of you.”

“well i….i do need help with a research paper i have for my english class.” peter itched the back of his neck. you nodded, standing up and immediately going through his book bag. 

you and peter spent the rest of the night on his laptop, typing away as you two finished his research paper, with his arms around your waist as he rested his head on your shoulders.

A/N: i had this weird, dumb idea in my head the other day and i just couldn’t resist writing about it because good god it’s ridiculous and hella exciting

“Oh come on, do it! He’s great, we went to college together and he’s sad, single. You two are perfect for each other!” Lia whined, tugging on your shirt as she pouted. You rolled your eyes, chuckling.

“Ok, first of all, I’m offended, second,” you paused for a second, and Lia anticipated. “No.” 

Lia groaned, face palming. “Please, Y/N? Just one date. Who knows, maybe you’ll love him! Just be yourself, it’s at the pub downtown.” Lia said, fluttering her eyes at you. 

“Fine, but just one date, I guess.” You sighed in defeat, ultimately making Lia put her hands up in excitement. 

It wasn’t like you hated the idea — you simply just didn’t understand the idea of blind dates. Sure, it was through a friend, but what if this guy just ends up being a fucking psycho?

Meanwhile, Harrison was with Tom, who was getting ready. “Do I really have to? I mean, I think I’m good,” Tom sighed, putting on a jacket. Harrison just stayed silent, smirking as he looked up at Tom, nodding. 

You sighed before entering the pub, taking out your phone after recieving a message from Lia.

Lia: He’s wearing a jacket. I’ll leave it to you, go find him! Y/N: Seriously? Just tell me his fucking name, there’s like 8 people here wearing jackets. Lia: I don’t know, don’t you like suspense? I already told him you were wearing jeans and a long sleeved shirt, you’re good.

You groaned as you read her text, burying your face in your hands. You suddenly felt someone tap your shoulder, making you turn around. 

“Hey, you’re...here for a blind date?” He asked nervously, to which you nodded. “Tom,” he introduced himself, stretching out his hand. You shook his hand, smiling. “Y/N.”

He offered you a drink as you two took a seat, and of course you agreed. What else were you supposed to do? Say no? Of course not, especially with someone who looked so good. 

You found yourself having a great time as you two started to drink and talk. He was a great guy. You two had similar interests, and you both had the same sense of humor. It wasn’t so bad after all. 

“Look at those two, jesus.” Tom laughed as he whispered, pointing at the two people making out in the corner. “Hey! Leave them alone,” you giggled, “But damn, seriously?” you added. “I feel like I’ve seen that girl before. Weird.” Tom cocked his head to the side as he stared at the two, but quickly turned his attention back to you.

You two were tipsy, and you two couldn’t stop giggling as you two left the pub. Now at a park nearby, sitting on a bench as you leaned on his shoulder, sharing a few funny stories. Suddenly, Tom got a phone call from Harrison.

“Hey, Haz!” He answered. “Hey, I hope I’m not bothering you. You having a good time with Ava?” Haz chuckled. 

Tom suddenly remained silent for a few seconds. “Uh...Yes...? I have to go we’re having a really great time thank you, thank you, bye!” Tom replied with panic and confusion in his voice, speaking a little too fast. 

“What’s wrong?” You asked, giggling. 

“I think, I was supposed to go with a girl named Ava,” Tom scratched the back of his neck, nervous. “Oh my god, seriously? Who was I supposed to go out with then?” you said as you raised your eyebrows.

“Ask your friend” Tom chuckled. You pulled out your phone, seeing a message from Lia. 

Josh said he’s really having fun! Nice one, Y/N ;)

Showing him the text,, Tom’s eyes widened, the two of you breaking out in a fit of laughter like a bunch of idiots. The laughter died down after a few minutes, with Tom wrapping his arm around you as you leaned on his shoulder. The two of you sighed, a comfortable silence now being shared between the two of you.

“You know, I think they were the ones making out at the pub earlier” You chuckled as you looked up at him. “Then it’s a win-win situation. I’m just….more lucky” he cheekily grinned. Not only did your cheeks turn red at the comment, but your whole face as well. 

‘God, how are we going to tell our friends” you squeezed your eyes shut in embarrassment, letting out a quiet laugh. 

As the night came to an end, you and Tom parted ways, with Tom giving you a ride home. “Thank you, Tom.” you spoke softly as the car came to a stop.

Summary: Peter is afraid to confess his feelings to you because of your dad, so he enlists the help of two trusty A.Is to leave you little messages of how he feels instead — leading to the most odd way of flirting. Pairing: Peter Parker x Stark!Reader Warning/s: swearing??

“You screwed the pooch hard. Big time. But then, you did the right thing! you took the dog to the free clinic, you raised the hybrid puppies... Alright, not my best analogy. I was wrong about you. I think with a little more mentoring, you could be a real asset to the team.” Tony smiled, patting Peter on the back. 

“Wait….To the team?” Peter’s eyes widened. “Yup. There are about 50 reporters behind that door. Real ones, not bloggers. So, when you’re ready…”

“You try this on.” You rushed past them, surprising Peter. You stopped in front of them, revealing the Iron-Spider suit. “I’m Y/N, by the way.” You smiled, stretching out your hand to shake his. “I...I know you. P-Peter.” 

He was at a loss for words as he admired the suit — and you. “Nice, huh? My daughter is amazing at this kind of stuff. Now, why don’t you try that on? and I'll introduce the world to the newest official member of the Avengers, Spider-Man.” Tony smiled. You giggled, stepping back so he can get a better look at the suit. “So, what do you say?” You said, excited.

“Thank you, Y/N, Mr. Stark. But….I’m good.” He smiled. Your eyes widened at the sudden change of heart, Tony has been telling you how much he wants to be an Avenger, so why say no? 

“You’re good? What do you mean you’re good?” 

“I mean...I might just stay on the ground for a while. Friendly neighborhood Spider-man….y’know? Someone’s gotta look out for the little guy.” Peter chuckled. Tony took off his glasses, confused and surprised at Peter. “You’re turning me down? Wha- look at that, look at my daughter- well no, not the point. Look at me, last chance, yes or no?” “N..No”

“Alright. Happy will take you home.” Tony said. You frowned as you watched Peter walk away, turning back to look at the suit once again. Sighing, you opened the glass, taking the suit and putting it in a suitcase like container. “What are you doing?” Tony furrowed his eyebrows as he watched you. “I am not letting all this hard work go to waste. Good choice, but still.” You sighed as you stood up, taking it with you as you walked past him, following Peter.

Just as Peter was about to go down the stairs outside, you ran after him. “Peter!” You called out, making him stop in his tracks. “Y-Y/N?” he looked back, a smile spread across his face. “Here. I- this belongs to you. Also because I worked hard on it. You seem like a good kid. Maybe we should….Hang out sometime” you smiled as you handed him the case. “Of course! Thank you, really, it’s amazing.” 

Which leads us to now, in your room, as you and Peter built a LEGO Tie-Fighter. It’s been almost 6 months of you and Peter being great friends, and it’s been nothing but, well, great.

“All done!! We should do the millennium falcon next, I can’t believe we haven’t done that one yet” You giggled. Peter chuckled, his eyes lighting up at the sight of your bright smile and the sound of your giggle.

“You should get going, you have to study for that...uh...spanish quiz, is it?” You smiled, handing him his bag. “Yup. I’ll see you tomorrow?” Peter quirked an eyebrow at you, to which you nodded. 

“That’s enough. Don’t you two get sick of each other’s faces? God, even I’m starting to get sick of your face, Parker.” Tony groaned as he appeared in the doorway, startling you and Peter. 

“Nope. Now scram you two, I want to sleep.” You chuckled, pushing Peter and Tony out before shutting the door in their face. “God, i have no idea how she can sleep so much.” Tony sighed before turning back and leaving.

Peter has been thinking of confessing to you for a few weeks now, but if a simple hangout like that had your dad interrupting the two of you, or being forced to stay in the living room where everyone can see and hear you guys’ every move, it seemed impossible. Not to mention the good ol’ “no dating” rule Tony had for you. 

And so he had an idea — to use KAREN, who can lead him to F.R.I.D.A.Y, who can leave you messages of the things he’s always wanted to tell you.

“KAREN, can you connect me to F.R.I.D.A.Y?” Peter asked as he spun around in his chair. “Of course Peter, what for?”

Peter hesitated, stopping for a moment. “U-Uh, just tell F.R.I.D.A.Y to tell Y/N this: Hi, Y/N. I hope you have a great day, you’re one of the coolest people ever. And you’re….really pretty.” Peter smiled, “No problem, Peter. Anything else?” KAREN replied. “Don’t tell her it’s from me, and just say it to her like a casual greeting or something.” 

“Hi, Y/N. I hope you have a great day, you’re one of the coolest people ever, and you’re really pretty.” F.R.I.D.A.Y suddenly spoke, startling you. You stopped what you were doing, putting down one of Peter’s suit you were repairing. “What?” you chuckled, “Thank you? That’s very odd. But I’m flattered.”

And so the messages continued. Simple messages like “You’re the best, Y/N!”, or “Hello, Y/N. You look pretty today.”

Which confused Tony, Pepper, and Happy, Tony especially. “Did you hack into the A.I or is it just inlove with you?” Tony asked, puzzled everytime he heard another one of the odd messages. “I don’t know, dad. They just keep coming. Guess F.R.I.D.A.Y just loves me a lot” You shrugged.

It wasn’t until Peter forgot to remind KAREN to keep it anonymous, leading to F.R.I.D.A.Y conveying the message to you — using the recording of Peter originally saying it.

“H-hey, Y/N. I hope you’re having a great today. You look gorgeous.”

Your eyes widened, cocking your head to the side. “What?” you mumbled. “F.R.I.D.A.Y, have all the odd things you’ve been telling me all from Peter?” You furrowed your eyebrows. “Yes, Y/N. I have been instructed to say it myself, but I did not recieve any instruction this time, just a message.”

You chuckled, a blush creeping up on your face as you realized all the stuff F.R.I.D.A.Y had been saying has all been coming from Peter. “Well then, F.R.I.D.A.Y, tell Peter this: Hey, Peter. You’re adorable. And cheesy.” You said, unable to contain a smirk. 

“Hey, Peter. You’re adorable. And cheesy” KAREN played the recording, startling Peter, who was sitting on some rooftop after patrolling. “W-what? Was that Y/N?” Peter panicked, burying his face in his hands in embarrassment. “Oh my god….I must’ve forgot….” He muttered. “This is your chance, Peter. Go get her.” KAREN encouraged him.

Peter took a deep breath, before getting up to go see you. “Well hello, Pete.” You cheekily grinned as you saw him walk inside your lab. “I- Y/N,” Peter struggled to form a sentence as he panted. “Mhm. So, you think I’m gorgeous?” you smirked, making Peter blush in embarrassment. “Y-yeah. I think you’re amazing I just couldn’t say it because-”

Suddenly, you cut him off, leaning forward to kiss him, making Peter’s eyes widen. Before you could break the kiss, Peter grabbed you by the arm and pulled you closer, the awkward, innocent kiss turning into a more passionate one.

When you finally pulled away, the both of you couldn’t hide the blush of embarrassment in your faces. “About time we did that.”
