was on the wikipedia page for charleston red rice and i noticed the photo they used was blurry. i went to the talk page to see if this was brought up and stumbled upon this banger of a conversation
Most of the edits are discussions of the specific origin and its other names
And whatever this guy was doing
I'm the creator of the blog previously know as thinkingcat / is the cat video cute which has for some reason turned into @flourishingskeleton I have no idea what happened to it, if it/a mod got hacked or another mod decided to change it. I have no intentions of trying to get it back. So ig that's an end of an era, just kinda pissed that all the content was deleted, oh well
dont u love wikipedia
if you are interested in becoming a wikipedia editor, librarians and archivists with palestine is facilitating trainings and an editathon to improve information about palestine on the platform. there are some very well researched an cited pages (thinking of this one, for example). translation knowledge is a big plus, particularly for arabic, hebrew, and english, but getting pages translated into other languages as well is very helpful. wiki pages are only as good as their editors! if you want to learn how to edit (especially if you are already interested in history research & archival sources) it’s definitely a benefit
Vexed by the reoccurring vandalism on the page for the common treeshrew
Chairs is a page with an interesting rate of vandalism for its contents
Wanted to add for people in the tags and comments: all (if I remember correctly) of these edits were made before half life vr but the ai is self aware happened
You ever heard of the Doug Coldwell thing? Some 80-year-old makes a ton of "good pages" that, upon further inspection, are actually not so good. Guy gets completely dogpiled on WP:ANI, but also fails to communicate. Relevant screenshot.
Oh I hadn't! I tend to really only read pages and their edit histories. But I may definitely look into it, may even have a new category for the blog. But that depends how comfortable I am regarding these sorts of stories
edits from the article Cat Gap, I page I plan to return to
I've been wondering who Nick could be, is it perhaps an ace attorney reference or a reference to something else? This has been on my mind since I found that edit
A prosecutor is still an attorney
It's in reverse chronological sorry
sometimes when I'm bored, I go through the list of recent bad faith Wikipedia edits that have since been reverted. a lot of them are politically contentious/offensive topics that attract crazies and trolls in general, but sometimes there are completely innocent inoffensive articles that people attack for no reason. some guy yesterday vandalized the article on the chemical element francium
