(no beers in) what is every thought you’ve ever had about me ever
I am a child from Gaza, living in a tent... and one bullet separates me from death. Today I read this news, and my heart trembled with terror. A nine-year-old boy was standing outside his tent in southern Gaza... and now he is gone. A bullet pierced his small body and ended his dreams in an instant.
I, too, live here, inside a tattered tent that offers no protection whatsoever. During the day, this piece of cloth doesn't shield us from the scorching sun that burns our skin. At night, it doesn't protect us from the cold, and worse still... it doesn't protect us from bullets or shrapnel. At any moment, I could be in that child's place. And the world will simply ignore my name as they go about their daily lives and football matches.
Our tattered tent, needs your support to become a shelter that protects us, and our hungry stomachs need a small glimmer of hope that we are not alone in this world. Please don't leave us to suffer alone. Help us so we can buy food to satisfy our hunger and repair our destroyed tent. I hope you won't ignore us.
it is impossible to watch a movie. every night i think i want to watch a movie. no movie gets watched. because it's not possible

people will describe their incredibly nebulous sexuality to you that they’ve never been able to define and the whole time you’re thinking that sounds like bisexuality brother
mutual 1: ITS COMING HOME 🏴🏴🏴
mutual 2: england is on a blight on humanity
hey why did I just see someone trying to convince people that going on hrt a terrible decision because you're making yourself a lifelong slave to the healthcare system to be exploited because *checks notes* many people who take hrt need to take it for the rest of their lives because the hormones will never naturally balance out
It's so crazy that in order to have healthcare you need to interact with the healthcare system right guys?? Lets all just be unhealthy and suicidal because hrt doesn't save lives you're just exploiting yourself!!!
And I imagine they have very normal opinions about disabled people lol
,,,or even just anyone who has to regularly take a medicine
Yeah, and like: anyone of us could need to regularly take a medicine tomorrow. It's just super common to get an over-active thyroid or high cholesterol or diabetes, etc.
Or maybe you won't get any of those issues. You're still permanently dependent on the healthcare system because you could get any of a thousand heath issues randomly.
You can't separate yourself from the demographic of 'lifelong slaves to the healthcare system'. Needing healthcare is an inescapable fact of being human.
