“I can last as long as I want…depending on what I’m trying to last for.” His arms came up across his chest, claws tapping on his elbows. “Cannot be a loser if there is no competition or battle. We were mocking each other, not arguing or fighting….” Rosebud let out a light sigh, “I simply get tired of these types of things pretty quickly.”
Turning away, the lion waved Nick to follow. “Now, are you going to come with me so I can make you dinner, or not? This is your only chance to get free food…all you gotta do is not tell the cops I’m camping in the park~” Though personally, he doubted any of the officers would believe the fox telling them a big pink lion is camping illegally.
Under the first impression Nick had gotten from the large, pink feline, he hadn’t thought of him to be one of those over-technical types; but as he went on and on, nitpicking at his phrases and choice of words, the fox couldn’t stop the irritated flick of his whiskers as his green eyes stared up at the lion.
As he finally turned away from him, Nick finally allowed the heavy eye roll he had been holding back to fall into motion, his head lightly moving along with a similar motion. Unfortunately the gesture was stopped short as he turned towards him, Nicholas quickly snapping back to attention, hoping the other hadn’t seen his rather dramatic behavior.
Ears pressed forward though, a single brow raising at his final remark. Not tell the cops? Well, he certainly wasn’t telling the right mammal for that...Not that he was about to say anything about that. Wasn’t like he was actually on duty...
“Now whoever said I was turning that down, Flower?” Nick grinned, jogging forward the small space that had been put between the two of them as he shoved his paws into his pockets. “So, gotta name or is Flower enough for you, Fluffy?”
