Ivypool thoughts have led me here:
Warriors would benefit from not wanting Every Character to have babies. And also from more babies dying. Generally more cats Need to die. (especially in thunderclan)
There have always been a Lot of babies happening, even in the first arc. I think it's less bad in the first arc bc the starting cast is pretty small, so most of the kits get some individual screen-time, and are important at least briefly.
Cinderpelt, Brightheart, Brackenfur, and Thornclaw.
Thornclaw is the least memorable of these cats, IMO. Probably should've died; four kits surviving and 3 having more kits is too many. If you kill Thornclaw, then only Brackenfur and Brightheart have kits. Obviously we all remember the other three; Cinderpelt and Brackenfur are important for being Fireheart and Graystripe's apprentices, and Cinderpelt further after her injury and becoming a med cat apprentice. We all know Brightheart, obviously.
A singleton, which I think should happen more often especially if a cat is gonna have multiple litters. Swiftpaw gets some nice development as Longtail's apprentice, and of course a Very Memorable Death.
Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt
We all know them lol. Tawnypelt notably leaves Thunderclan! Excellent choice. Also I hate Brambleclaw. So Much.
Ashfur, Ferncloud, and Cloudtail
Ferncloud and Ashfur dont get a lot of attention in the first arc, and Ferncloud the least attention overall. But they do have their scene with dead Brindleface and the dog-relay, and they are present in the background, which makes them memorable. Cloudtail is in everyone's face all the time. Unforgettable bastard.
Deeply memorable baby despite having only one speaking line and a gruesome death. RIP Snowkit, gone but never forgotten.
Sorreltail, Rainwhisker, and Sootfur
Ill be honest I forget Rainwhisker and Sootfur exist most of the time. Sorreltail notable gets poisoned and marries Brackenfur, also Leafpool has a crush on her big time. I really like Rainwhisker and Sootfur's names tho I wish they were anything.
I think that's all the babies?? So only two that were truly forgettable IMO.
But after this everyone is just having so many babies and we hardly interact with any of them. Lilyheart and Seedpaw?? Those are two of Sorreltail's kits and we know Nothing about Lilyheart until very recently, and even then she's only briefly Nightheart's mentor and a pretty nothing character.
Anyways none of this is fact checked Im just rambling. Less babies and please interact with the babies more.
