Just a dream....2/12/24
I was with my family. Everybody was there except Edith.
My dad was telling me that Edith was going to get married soon. She met someone and they were planning on getting hitched fairly quickly. This surprised me since I didn't think I'd see the day.
I was wondering why she was not there with us, hanging out with family. I don't recall much from the dream.

Life has the power to turn us into someone we're not, to make us disconnect and isolate, to make us angry, to make us bitter, even cruel, to make us close off. It's a coping mechanism, and it's fine if you're using it. Nobody can judge you for that. But always try to find your way back to your heart, to your core self. Always find ways to be yourself, no mask on, no wall buildt up. At least with yourself. Know your real self, not what the person you became after your trauma/pain. Forgive yourself for all that you've become, you realized it was the way out of it all and that's fine. But find your peace, your kindness, your openness, your light, your magic again. And do it for and towards yourself first. Don't let it get too late.

Remember to try to not always work on autopilot: read accurately that text and try to understand, listen to all the words that person says and try to understand... be present, don't come to conclusions, don't work based on your own perception: sometimes our perception gets biased by our feelings and traumas and we stop being open and grounded. We stop understanding for real what is going on and responding accordingly. Don't let this happen to you. At least, don't use it for too long cause, despite it may save you from some pain on occasion, it may also create distance, isolate you and increase your pain indirectly. Take care

1. Move outside your comfort zone and try doing something you’re afraid to do.
2. Don’t overplan your week, year or life. Allow yourself the chance to be taken by surprise.
3. Meet new people and make new friends. It’s an excellent way to grow and learn.
4. Make a note of your thoughts and ideas. They may be creative – and lead to something great.
5. Allow yourself some time for peace and solitude. Being quiet and alone will recharge your batteries – and provides a fertile ground for thinking through your new ideas.
6. Be honest with yourself, and what you want from life …. And what you need to do to make your dreams reality.
7. Show an interest in others, and what’s happening in their life. Reaching out and helping people is part of true success.
8. Have fun. We’re attracted to people who seem to love their life – and since we only get one chance, we might as well enjoy our life!
