Nilai Night Market, Malaysia

Not much seems to happen in Nilai, but there is a small night market on every Friday. I've only managed to go along once since I have been here as I'm struggling for transport.

Eiffel Tower, Paris, France on Flickr.

View of the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero. I had hoped to get some really good pictures of the Eiffel tower from here but the situation didn't go as I had expected. One thing I learnt from this was use it or lose it. I hadn't used my camera in and all of a sudden I had to use it in the rain and dark and I couldn't remember what settings to use or how to access all the different settings.

New Year's Eve - Paris

Edinburgh, Scotland.

A shot from a great trip up north to complete the Edinburgh half marathon. All of us that ran got great times with a few PB's being set. Next fitness travel destination - Bournemouth for a shorter 10K.

Crackington Haven, Cornwall, England

Cambeak headland sticking out from Crackington Haven provided a great place for asian style jumping pictures. An excellent first trip to Cornwall with 3 out of the 4 days being sunny.

Whitby, Yorkshire, England

Finished the film inside my La Sardina lomography camera. Some mixed results but some have come out really well. As usual with lomography bright sunny days seem to work the best. Non of the shots on my Holga came out right…need to get back into the habit of using that camera correctly.

Lincoln Cathedral , Lincoln

Took a couple of shots of Lincoln cathedral at night. Didn't really get the results I was looking for. Must go back another night, with some cloud movement would be great.

Fountains Abbey, Ripon, England.

We woke up to a beautiful sunny winter morning so took a trip to Fountain Abbey in Yorkshire. We arrived just in time to see the abbey in the winter sun before the clouds rolled in and it became a rainy winter day.

Had a great bank holiday weekend camping up in the peak district. First two days the weather was amazing, I even got a little sun tan.

If only all weekends could be this sunny...

Robin Hood's Bay, Yorkshire, England.

During the bank holiday weekend we took a trip to Robin Hood's bay, just south of Whitby. We saw this local fisherman's boat get towed out into the bay, but it simply sat there all weekend never moving.

Malham Cove, North Yorkshire Dales

During the first week of the Easter holidays we took a trip to Malham cove. This had been on our to do list since we had seen it on the 'The Trip' with Steve Coogan (Link). I also found out it was used in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire Last weekend we went to the seaside to visit the 'famous' beach huts of Mablethorpe. There are supposed to be about 10 dotted asking the coast down to Sutton-on-sea but this was the only one we found.

Thornton Abbey, Lincolnshire, England.

We took a visit to the north of the county to the ruined Thornton Abbey. It looked pretty cool with the misty atmosphere, just a shame there aren't a few more remains.

Lincoln Drill Hall, Never been inside this building, but this face always looks cool on the outside. Although you can't really see they have attached a moustache for Movember.
