I’ve been trying to process how I’ve been feeling lately (..because I’ve been feeling a lot of things), and I can’t quite pinpoint a underlying emotion that’s been bubbling up. 🫠🫣🥺🥹 “Lost” has come to mind, but that word has somewhat of a hopeless connotation, and that feels too strong.. but maybe I’m in denial haha? ..Nah, I don’t think I am. 👀 So I looked up the Oxford definition because I like that the dictionary gives multiple meanings, and here’s that it gave me: Lost /lôst,läst/ (adj): - unable to find one's way; not knowing one's whereabouts. 🤔 - (of a person) very confused or insecure or in great difficulties. 🧐 - denoting something that has been taken away or cannot be recovered. 🤷‍♂️ These ~kinda~ explain (pieces of) how I’m feeling, but again—they feel too definitive, and strong. Maybe “out of place” feels better.. but theres a big part of me that feels like I’m 100% in the right place. Maybe it’s something in my life is missing.. or that’s lost? …ugh, I don’t know, but it’s been making my head spin and question a lot of things.
