Wherein Bill is offered an deal, of sorts, to leave the theraprism in return to get another universe's Mabel and Dipper home safe after falling into the portal alone. What is he a babysitter? But babysitting with a bit of freedom and being allowed to tap into his powers isn't all bad. All he's gotta do is get them home in one piece, anyway. That can't be so hard.

After much deliberation, I've decided to put my fanfic on Hiatus in order to fully complete it before posting the rest, as well as potentially rewrite some earlier chapters! I hope to begin posting chapters of the to-be-completed fic in June and will continue to leave updates on my tumblr. Thank you all who're following along, I'll keep you updated and be sure to give lil snippets here once in a while!

A Study On Respect Between Scientist and Monster: Stanford looked around the dark woods and squinted. A Composite For Loneliness: The door to Teeth's room slammed shut, rattling the bottles and trinkets on his shelves. A Triangle's Guide to Inter-Dimensional Hopscotch: Red colored wax rubbed into the grit of the paper Bill held down with his free hand, eye squinting with focus. The following fics are works in progress, so the opening line is less definitive and more based on whatever scene I wrote first.

Out of Sorts (two different potential opening scenes): "Stanford's fingers brushed along the curves of polished wood grain embossing the shelves of his mind as he stepped over paper litter and upturned, surely dogeared journals."
