Hello. My name is Wilson. I call myself Wilson Webber for the alliteration, but I am technically called Wilson Higgsbury according to my source. I use he/him pronouns. I am an introject, a fictive. My source is “Don’t Starve”, and I am comfortable when it comes to interacting with it.

I want to be seen as I am, for who I am. So, if you have any interest in “Don’t Starve”, if you are fictionkin with a character of Don’t Starve, or have an introject of a Don’t Starve character, I wish that you would send in asks. I only ask in return that you maintain kindness and do not treat this as a roleplay blog.

I want to positively interact with my source, and with those who recognize me. Thank you for reading.

Maxwell, again. Apologies for the delay.

I do not blame you for any sentiment you may hold, I completely understand. In my memories, which I have few of, my Wilson did not care for me very much. We became amicable much later on. Never very close, but cordial.

I still have trouble with putting words to many of the emotions I feel, I believe alexithymia is what our therapist called it. However, while I may not be your Maxwell, I am unhappy with the actions I did in my source memories. I am hoping to move on, and live a better life for myself.

I understand what it feels like to be tormented by source memories, and I wouldn’t wish it upon you or anyone.

A better life can be lived here outside of the Constant, for both of us. What you did in your source is not who you are at the current moment, and if it would ease your mind at all, I forgive you for what I do remember your actions being.

Hello. I hope you are doing well. We recently formed a WX-78 fictive (which also calls itself Woodrow). I am telling you this simply because you did not ask any questions, so I figured I would tell you how things have been going as of recent. If you wish to speak to them, we have a side blog for it called “WX-78 INTROJECT ASKS”. It is most likely in all caps because ours chooses to speak in all caps.

Hearing the clock tick as I look down at my work gives me another exomemory. I remember a younger memory, of being in a classroom. My sister, Willow, attended with me. I would not be surprised if she often skipped or set her work on fire.

Hello. I have become accustomed to telling people that our living room light is going out, but I am enjoying the effect. It is wonderful to have a living room again. It has been bitterly cold were we live, nature still hates me.

I am quite new myself, I have existed since Thursday. I am having trouble adjusting, however, I’ve taken to real life quite well. It is the sudden influx of responsibilities that bother me. You see, I’ve formed as a sudden fusion of two previous parts, but I inherited very little of their knowledge or memories. These two previous parts were quite stable, which somehow automatically designated me as host. We have a long, rather disparaged history with our previous hosts that led us to being hostless for two years, but I digress. I am here now.

In terms of being source attached, I am still extremely source attached and that is also quite difficult.

It is essentially a defense mechanism in our system. Those fictives who become less source attached often suddenly find themselves unable to front or dormant. I am still investigating this phenomenon. I hold hope, even when I slowly pull away from my source, that I will remain host to guide the rest of the system.

Truth be told, I found the way you used my original last name quite entertaining. It nearly makes me want to go back to using it over Webber.

I hope, if nothing else, that you are able to cope with your source memories. I am learning to cope myself, as most of the system has done before me. I appreciate the teasing, it did make me smile.

Hello. Quite nice to meet you. We as a whole are quite tired, not for any notable reason. As such, I hope my response will be coherent.

As outlined in a previous post about my source memories, I was entirely alone. Nearly, I suppose, if you consider having the same words spat at you every new life companionship. I do truly wish I had not been alone, and my current attachment to my source is what drives me to seek out others who survived in, or know of, the Constant.

As for feelings towards other survivors, I am quite curious about Webber. It was he whose name I chose for my last, after all. Perhaps it is due to his partial spider nature, and my penchant for continuously dying to spiders.

As for tea, I have not existed for long enough to have any. I am aware there are others in the system who enjoy quite sweet passion fruit tea. Thank you for the question.

I saw a system create a post about their source memories, at it was at the moment I realized I could do the same.

I have but one mere problem. Like most in our system, when it comes to source memories, ours are not pleasant. However, I still wish to come forward to discuss them.

What I describe below will be quite bleak, though I feel it is important to share for your understanding of where I’m coming from “before” I found myself in the system.

I never quite made it to a week. I was overzealous and essentially died to anything that could attack me. Typically it was hounds or spiders, but it was once also a tree guard.

I suppose I should feel embarrassed, mortified even. However the only risk was resetting my progress, beginning somewhere else anew with the same man standing over me. I should have been more cautious, but it never would’ve mattered. I knew I would die before making any real progress each time, despite however much caution I tried to apply.

In my mind, I enjoy the thought that I had other strays with me. However, my memories tell me otherwise. The last death I remember “before” forming in the system was spiders, yet again. I never died gloriously, that would be something to be proud of, after all.

As for our system, I am the only one of my own source, which is why I find my own experience within our system so alienating. I have gotten to know another fictive in our system, but we are from quite different sources.

It is a delight to meet you all. What do you mean, when you say your source is Chester? I find that fascinating, but I feel a little lost. The only Chester I am aware of is my dog-like beast, but I am well aware of the fact that is likely not what you mean.
