Breaking news: End of AI?

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, is expecting a 14-16 billion dollar loss through 2026 and potential bankruptcy by 2027.

Due to their increased spending on different trainings and upgrades for their projects, their financial analysts are expecting large scale loss if they don't find a way to generate nearly 300 billion before 2027.

This could be the downfall of AI and OpenAI, one of the largest AI companies as of right now, valued around 300-500 billion dollars. This could lead to other AI based companies to fall alongside it, leading to better environmental conditions, more water, less energy consumption, less AI 'slop', and a betterment in teen and young adult health (based on a study conducted on teens who used AI as a friend instead of seeking out real people).
