Ingredients: 500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 250g mushrooms, sliced. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour. 1 cup beef broth. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 cup sour cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish. Egg noodles or rice, cooked, for serving.
Instructions: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, then remove from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and saut the onion until translucent. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are tender. Sprinkle flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to combine, cooking for about a minute. Slowly pour in beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Stir in Dijon mustard and sour cream until well combined. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and simmer for a few minutes to heat through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked egg noodles or rice, garnished with chopped parsley.
