i think you and i and Al all know why we don’t do alchemy on living things

but maybe we could make some sort of structural improvement to the carpet fibers that would make the fur easier to get rid of or something so it didn’t get everywhere

i’m going to give this some serious contemplation here

Industrial designer Scott Summit, of Summit ID, creates incredibly beautiful prosthetic pieces. They are created on a 3D printer, with the user’s other limbs as a point of reference, resulting in beautifully symmetric limbs.  

His philosophy of creating personal and elegant rather than mass-produced, functional pieces really shows through the grace of his work.  

Some of the more beautiful things that come out of this philosophy range from recreating a tattoo that was lost to matching a purse to looking like a piece of sport equipment: whatever is important and personal to the wearer’s life become reflected in their new prosthetic limb.

if you can't take a vacation at the same time as ed's going to xing you should still try to make it up there to see all the kinds of automail they have! and check on lanfan's too since whatever her arm's like now, you could do it better! and it would give you another girl friend to talk to! it could be nice!

That's a great idea! I'll have to look at my schedule and make a week or so without appointments, and I'll have to hope there's no accidents which will bind me here to give people automail... I never thought about how many wonderful types of automail there might be in Xing! Along with the note about Lan Fan, well, after all this time, unless she has a fantastic mechanic, her arm is going to need some adjustments. I mean, all the movement she must do in one day must wear it down so much! Having her as a friend would be so great... Talking mostly only to the two boys, well, only Al now, because we're in Resembool... It makes me kinda wishing for someone non-Elric to talk to? I think that's a great idea, anon. Thank you!

Gladly! When we were little, still, like... Eight, maybe? Ed, Al, and I were all together one day, heading for the watering hole! It was way out in the woods, so it was a bit of a walk, but fully worth it. When we got there, though, I stopped those two for a moment. I was like, "Guys, doesn't it seem a bit... lower than last year?" Then of course Ed, who has to be so defiant, yells, "OF COURSE NOT! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!" At this point Al and I knew what he was about to do, and Al plead, "Brother, please, I don't think you should-" but of course, as always, stubborn little Ed is grasping the tire swing and flying towards the water- which turned out to only be a foot deep! I was so worried that he might be hurt, because I didn't want to explain that to Granny, but thanks to all that mud, he was just fine! We had trouble washing out all of that stuff for months!

Oh, that's kind of difficult! As much as I'd like to think he could take care of children responsibly, he's said himself he wouldn't be capable... Well, he's said what he would do as a babysitter, and I've made that assumption. Although, at the same time, I think he would actually be a great, fun babysitter... That he's just kidding, you know, and he would be so capable... Then again, trying to think of me, out of all people, with kids... I guess I just can't ever see myself in that situation? In a place where someone would care about me, silly ol' Winry, so much that they'd wanna have kids and stick around... Not that I don't think Al cares about me, of course I know he does! I just know that I'll never really deserve him, and the moment he figures that out, he might... I don't know. If you don't have any books you like to read or something like that, you can always prepare more dough so that you can put it in as soon as the first batch is taken out.
