@winter-peony-lover
So y'all may have seen that @sailatina previously @sailor-crusader-deactivated2025 is down. I am from her discord and can confirm that this was a nuke. Not Only was this a nuke but.
Notice the line "This action was taken as a result of an INTERNALLY GENERATED report". This means she was not deleted as a result of some tumblr user reporting her but a member of @staff tumblr themselves. A poc trans woman was directly terminated by tumblr.
Muhamad Diouf by Vazha Kuchulori for NumĂŠro Netherlands September 2025
If you share a space, you're an infiltrator or at best, a guest. If you create your own space, you're a separatist. Such is the way of being a trans woman.
Such is the way of being racialized.
I don't even know where to find my fellow racialized trans girls. You ghouls push them off every site and space.
Anyway, my white allies. I need you to understand racism is not just being mean on the basis of race. Its a complicated, deep machine and project. If you want to be an ally you cannot simply advocate for being nice to brown folks. You must be a full race traitor, and obliterate whiteness itself!
very telling how many people use "go to therapy"/"seek mental health care" to mean "never make me have to see you or the thing you said again." wonder if this implies anything about the cultural role of psychiatric medicine
Psychiatry is not just intertwined with carceral systems or culturally tainted by them, it is continuous with the carceral system, full-stop. They have psychiatrists in every prison. Psychiatrists send people to prison. I have experience in the field of "Medicaid waiver" systems that provide extensive support to people who would have previously been sent to an asylum, and these people are surveilled by psychiatry and incarcerated at such high rates.
The "de-institutionalization" wave of the 70s and 80s, where the US shut down asylems, was supposed to be replaced by community care, but those systems were not funded. They are always stretched to the breaking point. Prisons are where the mad and disabled are housed so you do not have to look at them. It's atrocious and it is a nightmare.
See here. These are the same populations. Psychiatry is a prison system. I love my psychiatric drugs, they help me daily, but fuck, I am so goddamn careful what I tell them, and I am a quite literal professional at navigating healthcare. It has only gotten scarier with loud public calls in American politics to re-institutionalize homeless people and incarcerate more drug users. Please never think a psychiatrist is your friend.
If you are white and cis and don't have a visible disability and no criminal record, and you fall under the labels of depressed or anxious or even maybe bipolar, you will almost certainly be fine. But if you are not white, and you are angry at the way the world is, or if you have been caught up in the horrible machine of the injustice system, if you don't like that mood stabilizers make you feel like shit and detract from quality of life, it is so, so fucking easy to end up with "homicidal ideation" or "treatment non-compliant" or "aggressive" on your chart. That will follow you forever. It will be held against you for forever.
if you ever use the word âklansfemâ you are straight up just a nazi terf and everybody can tell at a glance btw. iâve been getting that one in my inbox a lot lately and i just thought you should know that it doesnât, like, hurt my feelings or anything it just makes me feel bad for all the black transfems youâre throwing under the bus to justify your months-long obsessive stalking. i would feel bad for every black transfem you know but⌠letâs be honest, you donât know any. i just hope it stays that way because damn you are one freakish obsessive little bug huh
so when i first saw this post i was like "huh yeah they would call us that" and i moved on, taking it at face value, because i've been on this site for way too long.
then i went, hang on. i doubted zippertits from the get go but not this one. sure, zippertits being completely absent from transfem spaces and solely use by terfs and transmascs looking to pedojacket tgirls was in line with my experiences, but one could say that i have a confirmation bias.
so i went, okay! let's put my money where my mouth is and go look for evidence that this is in fact a term used by transmascs.
oh! okay! that took less than a minute!
funny how that works huh?
anyway this is clearly the 4chan nazi to tgirl pipeline / white transfem boogeyman thing all over again. i do so wish people spent as much time they did actually defending transmascs and studying their specific axes of oppression rather than pouring all their energy into inventing new ways to scapegoat trans women but, sigh.
I find these posts revolting and interesting. They really often associate transmasculinity with being black or in this case non-white, meanwhile transfems as a whole are treated as white, with black and brown tgirls regularly being called white on here.
Theyâve co-opted racial language the same way they accuse transfeminists of doing when we compare tma/tme with black/nb and poc/white.
And the question at the end! âWhy are transfems so predisposed to oppressing transmasc folks?â This sounds like nebulous rhetorical ruminating, but this question HAS AN ANSWER. Not that the question is true or anything, itâs worded in a way thatâs impossible to answer, itâs as bad faith as it gets. But it has an answer that the poster wants to evoke in the minds of their readers.
The post uses âklansfemâ to call transfems racist, sure. But the association with the KKK goes further. They want transfems to be equivalent to the KKK because the KKK is equivalent to right wing politics, and right wing politics are equivalent to maleness and masculine domination.
They then later drop the kl for a tr in their question about why weâre âpredisposed to oppressingâ people. Equating all transfems with the above line of association. Thereâs really only one conclusion to take from that.
The answer that question is baiting the reader to think of is âall transfems are men.â Which then equates our supposed oppression of âtransmasc folksâ to sexism/misogyny. Which in turn equates transmascs to women.
These people are terfs. Donât trust a word they say.
its really wild that white people treat the oppression and marginalization of black and brown people like it's a fun decorative feature on their personal journey toward Becoming Better People. they have no political motivation beyond their own fleeting emotions. truly white people are so so vile I........
LITERALLY! We exist only to comfort them and make them feel better about themselves! Asking them to not be racist means our standards are too high, purity politics. Its purity politics to ask me to not be racist.
Anyway im not gonna make this a whole thing because this is but a small manifestation of the broader cracker sentiment. My thesis statement is this: Your attempts of challenging your own racism should not be made the problem of random poc. Even if you are "trying to get better" realize that it is not my responsibility to be patient with you or guide you. And especially don't start actively bothering poc because they dont like your racism.
being black in any art community is such a strange feeling cause youâll see just blatant racism being expressed in others art and you have to just casually ignore it, for your sake if anything, colorism being something thatâs just fundamentally there in every artist and you deal with it cause itâs not worth it in the end to even think of it too hard let alone even mentioning it, itâs definitely something
the fact that so many 'feminists' support and advocate for sex segregation (seperate bathrooms, seperate sports, etc) is genuinely mind blowing to me. like imagine if any other supposedly progressive movement advocated for segregation as a solution or even temporary fix to protect an oppressed group
guys lets have seperate bathrooms for black and white people. only to protect black people from racism of course. this will be good and hurt no one. <- does that sound unhinged to you because this is how you think about women but like unironically
Yes I am sick of having to coddle white peoples feelings constantly. Why do I ALWAYS have to be a comforter, for their self improvement? Why do I have to be subject to their torment and accept their apologies?
photography/film was primarily used as a white supremacistâs weapon for a majority for of the late 19th century (and the 20th centuryâŚ.and the 21stâŚ) like explicitly soâŚâŚlike to justify imperialism, misogyny, racism, ableism and race science bullshitâas a survelliance tool to use against indigenous communitiesâŚâŚ.and criminalize themâŚâŚto stereotype and mock black and brown peopleâŚ.need i go onâŚ?
Why did slaveholders have photographs taken of their slaves?
Whiteness has been the default in color photographs, but artists like John Akomfrah work toward a âuniquely Black image.â
two pieces i always think of in this regard!!!
If you call yourself anti racist, you need to drop the concept of IQ into the gutter
