Erev's Dungeon: Sugar Circus Beatdown!
((I'm bored on the bus, so I'm going to describe what Erev's dungeon is like. This dungeon, appropriately named Sugar Circus Beatdown! (With the exclamation point and everything) is a perfect marriage between a circus and a DDR game. Just like a three ring circus, this dungeon is in three stages. You are lead through all three by chasing Shadow Erev, a disheveled version of the pink haired detective, with a crazed look in her eyes. She is irrational and giddy, and she taunts the party with a long list of horrible, violent things she wants to do but has never been able to. This is Erev's inner psychopathy, all charm stripped away. The first ring is a traditional circus. The walls are made of pink and purple striped fabric, and they ripple, as if people were walking through them. White, faceless fabric mannequins perform tricks around the party. Some are walking the tightrope. Some are juggling bowling knives. Another is swallowing fire (and is subsequently set on fire, as mannequins are not meant to touch fire). Shadows come out of the walls and possess the mannequins, creating black, masked humanoid shadows. These battle in the same way ordinary shadows to. Most are resistant to physical attacks. Others are resistant to magical attacks. In the second ring, the walls are still the same, but the walls seem to glow as if they were backlit by lights. The lights pulse to music unheard. The mannequins continue their tricks, but they are ripped and worn. Under their fabric tears, if you get close enough to observe, there are mechanical gears and wires. Every once in a while, out of nowhere, the entire ring... Glitches. Was that real, or did you just imagine it? The shadows here are masters of buffs and debuffs. The third ring has become even more techno. The walls glow, and as they ripple, shadows of running people appear and disappear. There is a soft laughter and comes and goes. It sounds like Erev. The mannequins are now made of clear plastic, like action figures. Inside the plastic, you see the same modern gears. They pulse ad glow like a video game. And there it is, that glitching! Looks like you didn't imagine it after all. The shadows here have a tendency to poison, silence, enrage, or panic. Hold tight to your healer. In the final room, the fabric walls drape and fall, and the end of the room is just black walls and television screens, pulsing bright colors or big coordinated images. Erev sits in a throne made of trashed TVs, draped lazily in the purple and pink fabric. Her shadow joins with her, and essentially "fuses with her" (note, this doesn't beef Erev. She doesn't need it). Erev is alone to face the party... And her shadow behind her seems to move on its own. This battle is tough. Erev will buff herself, but more frightening is her Roulette. She will cast ailments on the party at random, tending more towards Charm and Rage. Her speciality is luck, and boy, does she have amazing luck. Watch out for critical hits and ailments. You can do it, Persona Users.))
