ST S5 FINALE SPOILER

Wtf? It was super underwhelming ??

Listen I love a good happy end .. but that just was not it?

Like I loved watching stranger things because it was a little escape from reality. The end of it was just a brutal slap in the face that no matter what you always end up in the same kind of boring adulthood where everyone slowly grows apart.

Loved lumax! (Loved Dustin giving higgings the middle finger. But be for real Eddie should’ve come back fr fr)

But no that was just not it.

Can we collectively agree to re write the ending?

I‘m happy no one like died but the deaths in 3 and 4 just felt injustice now that they suddenly make one of power of friendship we all live yay.

The spark was gone too.. like in s4 there was still mystery and the explanations of how this all started with with Henry and stuff Just..?? No??

M sad they Kind of .. ruined it? There were good parts but.. eh…

So stranger things season 5 spoilers !!

So the talk between Dustin and Steve kinda disappointed me because Dustin sees Eddie as this hero and Steve thinks Eddie just tried to play hero and failed

I personally believe it’s neither

Remember the „never change henderson“ from Eddie ?

He clearly planned to not make it out.

And yeah everyone gets in a survival mode when confronted with other dimensional monsters but his decision to run back into battle wasn’t to „save“ anyone just a good opportunity to die in the best way he could imagine

Different, in the upside down fighting monsters

It fit his whole persona.

So yeah I believe eddies death was him offing himself on purpose after being framed for a murder he didn’t do and the fact the whole town turned against him ways earlier.

I mean he would’ve been on the run forever and would’ve gotten arrested if not getting the death sentence anyways if caught.

So I am a little disappointed both characters did not discuss his death properly

Also on another note I don’t thing grief is properly displayed on st because why is Dustin the only one affected by the events of s4 (next to max n Lucas )

I just realised nam gyu is kinda bpd coded.

Like getting super attached to Thanos in *minutes* - yes they do knew each other before the games but it didn’t seem like they actually stayed in touch and just met after a while again.

And he looked super conflicted when he saw Thanos going after Mina in the beginning.

The huge jealousy towards anyone that Thanos talked to besides him. (Min su - se mi etc)

Also substance abuse (just gonna throw that in here)

Then the sudden aggressive outlashes that actually come super random (when he punched min su in mingle after he called him bro)

And the immediate switch from literally adoring Thanos to mumbling to himself he hated him after he died while still sleeping in his bed and trying to hold back tears like he was *shattered*

Like he literally splits afterwards (could be only the dr*gs this is all just a theory)

Also the switches personality wise. Of course the dr*gs he took had a huge impact on it and also the fact they were literally on the verge of death so often but from going to be a cocky bastard that laughed at Everything to be genuinely scared to try and act tough to ask Thanos for drugs to go all careless to going literally crazy.

He also looked at Thanos for confirmation when he said something *a lot* shows actually he’s not 100% sure about what he wants to say and also to make sure that what he says pleases Thanos.

Also the mood swings.

(And that little scene when Thanos tells him to call se mi noona and he’s like for a second hiding his face to calm himself ??)

I don’t know it’s late I just needed to share because I made the connection in my head

Okay the shaky legs namgyu makes in the bts of six legs are funny and all but I can’t stop thinking about the fact that he’s so jumpy in all games (see mingle) and even outside of the games but he caaant jump because his legs are tied to the others so he’s forced to stay on the ground but his natural reaction still kicks in so his leegs are wobbling around and ahhhhh 🥺😢😖

Thagyu/thangyu headcanons I strongly believe in

Pansexual nam-gyu ✧ I honestly believe he doesn’t care much about gender and just likes who he likes and hooked up with both guys and girls before.

Bi curious Thanos ✧ he never had any kind of interest in men before nam-guy and that’s why he’s a bit confused about his own thoughts and feelings about the other male.

Touch as love language ✧ it’s canon nam-guy is a touchy guy but Thanos actually loves the touch even though he’d never admit it

Thanos believes he’s the more experienced but nam-gyu did actually more and harder dr*gs than him. ✧

Nam- gyu used to be a straight A student in high school before he got burned out really badly and started drugs in his part time job at that club pentagon that’s mentioned. ✧

Thanos quit Highschool to focus on his rapper career that didn’t start paying off until his early 20s ✧

They both have canonically tattoos and their tattoos actually have deeper meanings for both of them ✧

Thanos paints nam-gyus nails ✧(no matter if the other wants to or not)

Nam-gyu has an inferior complex he masks with an superior complex ✧(honestly I think that’s pretty canon)
