Another thrust, barely a thrust, inching out and pressing back in before Bucky could miss him. Steady, like a metronome, never leaving him bereft, their breathing synchronised as Steve drew it out, kept it easy. Bucky breathed in, slid a hand between them, palm flat against Steve’s chest, the pounding of his heart belying the almost easy motion of his hips. Bucky sighed, soft, and the noise turned into a moan as Steve’s hands tightened on his hips and he ground in, tight, making white flicker across Bucky’s vision.

Bucky gripped Steve’s hair, careful, so careful with his metal fingers, tugging insistently until Steve’s kisses paused, started to move back up his throat. Slow. Easy. Then there was a mouth on his, warm and solid, nudging his mouth open and Bucky surrendered to it, clutched at Steve as the world fell apart, reformed with Steve at the centre of everything. Where he should be. 

“I love you,” He whispered, voice scratchy, when Steve pulled back for a moment, and when he opened his eyes Steve was watching him, expression warm, thrusts not wavering in the slightest. “I love you,” he repeated, and Steve’s mouth stopped him from saying anything more, mouth moving honey slow against his.

“Love you too,” Voice warm, straining a little. “More than anything Buck.” Another thrust, hands holding him steady, and Bucky let himself get lost in Steve once more.
