people probably already figured this out but ive had a revolation

so like the ship war ly'lac is having with her friend over dnangel (im guessing the friend is dagger? he seems like a weeb) is over three characters she calls the hero, the oddly named dark, and the blond guy.

ive seen people saying that ly'lac ships dirkjake which is just not true? if the guy colored green is supposed to be jake and the guy colored orange is supposed to be dirk, then technically, neither of them ship dirkjake? dagger ships the blond guy (dirk) with the "oddly named dark", while dagger ships the hero (jake) with the "oddly named dark".

at first i thought ly'lac might ship jake x bgd which like, still dirkjake i guess. but on a second look i dont even think "the hero" is jake???

colors dont match

but the color is a perfect match for cherub lime

the "hero" is either callie based on blood color or caliborn based on text color. the "oddly named dark" in this scenario, then, is the other half of the cherub pair. we could take "oddly named" to either mean callie's shortening of her name, or maybe al.

so i guess ly'lac likes cherub romance? i honestly dont really know what this means, maybe they just decided to use a lighter green for jake. i mean jake is pretty closely tied to the cherubs. but the fact that it's an exact match is freaking me out.

either way ly'lac still doesn't ship dirkjake. i just don't really know who the "oddly named dark" is.

It was one of the most complex drawings I’d had in mind for quite a while. I’m already starting to hyperfixate on the flaws. But more than anything, I’m happy that I pushed myself to work on it and actually finish it.

From a distance, Sayaka looks dignified, but up close she’s pouting and blushing… it suits her, I think.

Jane and Kali died in a hell dimension created by their abuser. Robin’s only arc this season was propping up Will. She got together and broke up with Vickie offscreen. The only thing mentions for Max in the ending is that she’s still with Lucas. No one looks out for Erica because she’s “tough”. You can’t convince me this show doesn’t hate women.
