To my other two anons:

M- In a word, yes. That subject has been discussed a lot so I won’t take space going in to it again. But yes.

To “why haven’t S&C spoken out…” anon, I don’t want to post the question for obvious reasons but that’s the million dollar question, isn’t it? I’ve come up with four main potential reasons why:

1) they’re in on it/condone it

2) someone high up who signs their checks are either in on it or they don’t want the wrath of those who are to come down on their company and thus the actors are told to keep quiet.

3) they themselves don’t want to piss off the “wrong” people. The fact that this company is teaming up with Disney to make a series probably doesn’t help. Nobody wants to piss off Disney.

4) Celebs posting things like this often operate on a “groupthink” model, so even if they aren’t personally being told to keep quiet, since nobody else is speaking out they aren’t either. Most just follow trends and don’t think for themselves, and those who do often get ignored at best or intentionally misquoted and “canceled” at worst.

Were i to guess, for these particular actors it’s a combination of 2, 3, and 4.

But I agree with you that if you are a celeb who historically uses your platform to speak out against injustices then this is an odd one to sleep on, Disney collaboration or not.

Always a beautiful reblog! And I think they've had at least one more, when Cait was directing there are a couple BTS photos of her looking radiantly pregnant, anybody have those pictures to add? One is in a winter jacket, but there's a middle bulge that is not the puffer jacket, I have one and I've been pregnant in one and I know the difference, and there's also one of her dancing with Lizzie and Lizzie at one point, I think, realizes the dance moves are making it obvious, and uses an umbrella to cover her🤰❤️

Well… She Threw The Bait. I Just Didn’t Bite. 👀

Something felt off the moment I saw the picture.

Not because of what was in it.

But because of what wasn’t.

The watermark.

Musical Chairs

The first few minutes of the NYCC 2024 Outlander panel were interesting. Firstly, the crew did not put enough chairs on the stage for everyone. I also noticed the spacing between Cait and Sam’s original chairs was noticeably bigger than the spacing of the other chairs. Intentional? Hmmm…

Cait was not having it and moved her chair closer to his.

Then it became clear they didn’t have enough chairs on stage. Cait appears stressed that they might be separated on stage. Then my favorite, the interviewer asks them to sit and Cait shoos her away like a fly, refusing to get comfortable until she knows Sam is sitting next to her.
