💫He was well aware of your dogs from the moment you both started dating. And had even met them on a few occasions

💫Despite the fact that he’s a cat person he does like dogs too, just cats more

💫When you first move in together he’s confused as to why you set up an area outside for them to sleep as well as an area inside, to which you explain that sometimes your dogs sleep outside because of their breeding. Since huskies are sled dogs and collies are herder dogs

💫Shadow really likes him. Whenever he’s sitting on the couch that damned husky of yours loves to crawl into his lap and cuddle with him

💫Your border collie Tarot however, is still very iffy about Ilia. Like whenever Ilia tries to play with him he growls and howls a lot, and you can’t really tell if it’s playfully or if he’s warning Ilia

💫Surprisingly enough, Mysti really likes you. Probably because you smell like Ilia but that’s not the point right now, she loves to make you carry her in the mornings

💫Morning walks through the neighborhood! Since your dogs are high energy dogs you need to walk them, and Ilia decided he might as well bring Mysti along in a back carrier or something

💫You groom your dogs yourself so he helps you now that you live together. It’s fun for him, because he gets to spray the dogs with a hose (his words not mine-) but it’s also just really fun for him

💫In turn you help him wash Mysti whenever she needs a bath

💫Your dogs and his cat get along pretty well, mostly because they ignore each other. But you have sent him videos of the three of them cuddling up together when there’s not a lot of warmth in the house

💫Your dogs wake you both up in the morning, they just jump up onto your bed and attack you both with licks and paws

despite his more serious demeanor at work, when you're with him, he melts into something such softer

a flirt!

if he's talking to you, there's a ninety-eight percent chance he's throwing in a flirty comment that leaves you a little flustered

since he's not the best with more emotional conversations, aside from flirting, he shows his affection through buying you things

he's not into huge gestures, but he never leaves a town without some touristy piece of junk he knows you'll love

even the smallest, loneliest places he ventures to for work, he's bringing you home something, even if its a rock from the side of the road that's cool or stealing a cup from a dive bar

since he's on the road a lot, when he comes back home, he's CLINGY

no one who knows him would believe you, but this man is not unwrapping himself from you until he has to leave again

he says he trying to soak up as much time with you as he physically can before his next trip, which you find annoyingly sweet

fancy dates are exactly his thing, but if you were itching to get dressed up and getting out of the house somewhere nice, he'd book a table at the nicest place he could find with an open reservation

his sarcasm does not leave him when he's with you

but you find it fun dishing it back until he can't act annoyed anymore and laughs

he may roll his eyes OFTEN but he does think you are the funniest person he's ever met and he tells everyone he can

his team is sick of hearing him go on and on about you, but they all adore you so they don't complain, especially when he takes after the Wranglers and the advice of his former team member, Javi, and starts to treat his team more like a family
