Whenever Hagrid finally decides to retire as Care of Magical Creatures professor you can bet your last knut that Charlie Weasley flies back to England the following week excitedly waving his resume and recommendation letters from no less than two Scamanders and the Minister of Magic, Hermione Granger.
I’m pretty sure he would also have recommendation letters from Rubeus Hagrid, the retiring professor, Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived and a very confusing one from Puddlemere United player, Oliver Wood, saying that he was one of the best Seekers he had ever seen.
Not to mention the fact that he flies back to England not on a broomstick or any other normal form of transportation, but landing on the Hogwarts grounds on the back of the largest dragon anyone has ever seen.
Reblogging again for that last addition.
Charlie: *glides in on a dragon* HELLO HIRE ME
Everyone: What the fuck
Ron: (in the background, mortified) this is normal
Not just any large dragon, either. A huge Norwegian Ridgeback that immediately curls itself around Hagrid’s Hut once Charlie dismounts. And it purrs when Hagrid dodders out of his hut to see what’s going on.
Norbert sneezes some sparks into Hagrid’s beard for old time sake. Hagrid bursts into joyful sobs. “He remembers his mummy! After all these years!”
Charlie: Her name is Norberta, actually. She has had like three clutches of babies-
Hagrid: I´M A GRANDMA?!
Draco: I just saw Hermione crying in the library for five or six minutes and then her phone alarm went off and she just?? Stopped crying?? And then she went back on to work??
Hermione: It’s called time management.
honestly the funniest thing about the lord of the rings is how gandalf is literally a minor god sent to middle-earth by The Big Man Himself and yet literally nobody apart from the elves seems to recognise this or take him seriously
like yeah gandalf is pretty grumpy most of the time but how would YOU feel if you were the fantasy equivalent of an angel and a bunch of people who only come up to your knee were just like “oh fuck it’s that spooky old wizard” every time you showed up for a friend’s birthday party
god-like gandalf literally rocks up to the shire and shoots fireworks from his magical staff and the hobbits are just like “cool what’s for lunch”
Legolas: Pippin
Pippin: Yes, my lanky elf friend?
Legolas: Did you eat all the lembas bread?
Pippin: Er, no....why do you ask?
Legolas: There’s none left in Rivendell and you have bread crumbs all over you
Pippin: That’s hobbit bread
Legolas: Pippin the elves are starving
I’m not at all dissappointed with these Hobbit stickers and the way they turned out! ( here. )

new moon except while becoming friends with jacob bella realized edward was right to leave her and it was truly best for her because she didn’t want to sign her whole life away for someone she had only known a few months. she stays with jacob whom she’s know her whole life. lives out her life with her warm sunshiney best friend. they end up moving to arizona or somewhere else warm and sunny. bella opens up a bookstore/bakery kinda thing. jacob makes all the art that hangs on the walls and sells it on the side. they just get to live out their lives together. bella gets a normal human life like she always wanted.

pine trees and witchcraft
as winter months (and yule festivities) approach, pine becomes an excellent component of green witchcraft. evergreen trees, of course, symbolize immortality and perseverance. they are a great addition to any spell involving resilience or overcoming obstacles.
hanging a pine branch above your door will invite good energies, be it spirits or friends, into your space. placing pine above your bed will ward off illness.
throw pine into the fireplace (or bonfire) to summon protective energy.
pinecones work as a health and fertility charm.
pine is also an excellent smoke cleanser for purifying and warming a space’s energy.
pine trees in general are associated with divine harmony, peace, releasing guilt, and clarity. for this reason, meditation under a pine tree (or with a pine sprig in your hand) can be very healing and beneficial spiritually.
whether you have a pine tree in your home this season, you take a walk among some evergreens, or even just light a pine-scented candle in your bedroom, its wintery magick is wonderful.
