Lana frowned her eyebrows while she tried to help the girl to sit up as much as she could, even though she knew that maybe laying down was a better choice. “Yes, you’re in the park.” Lana spoke calmly and she tried to speak slowly too, just in case the girl was still a little dizzy. “And if you fainted, you should stay down for a little longer, just in case. I’ve once heard that if you sit up too soon you can faint again.” Lana already wanted to help the girl to lie down again. “And maybe I should call an ambulance or a doctor? Just in case? If you fainted out of nowhere, it might be good to have it checked anyway, just to be sure.“

She managed to sit up a little better with the other’s help; willing herself not to flop back down again when it was the only thing she wanted to do. Keeping up appearances was important. “Okay,” She responded, trying to make her voice sound less uncertain and more like she was getting her head back in the game. “No,” She said at the word of a doctor, a little more sharply than intended. “I mean, no thank you. I really appreciate your concern but I’ll be just fine.”

“Oh come on, don’t tell me that I don’t look good blonde” he crinkled his nose, before he let out a giggle, he had decided to dye his hair, he heard so many times that he would look good as a blonde, that he decided to try it out, and he thought it didn’t look bad, but that didn’t mean everyone would agree to him. “I personally think it looks good”

She raised her eyebrows for a moment before shaking her head. “I was definitely not going to say that. I think it looks great,” Faye smiled. “What motivated the change?”

Erik hung his head slightly as he stood out on the balcony overlooking town, everything he wore was ruffled and had splattering of blood on it, both his and Zach’s. He had stepped out of here to see if he would calm down without wanting to fight anyone that looked at him, but it wasn’t helping, not really. 

“Go away.” He snapped at the newcomer.

Faye had fled to the balcony in desperate need of some air; the anger rising inside of her now scaring the girl because it was so unfamiliar. She actually managed to stay quiet and take a few deep breaths despite the other presence there, until they spoke.

She couldn’t see the blood in the dark, and also because she wasn’t really looking and far too distracted. “Wow. Is there anyone who isn’t being an ass tonight?”

Amelia tried to do the same thing; She did not want to act like this and every single time she opened her mouth it seemed to get worse. What was it that made her feel so irritated in the first place? The night went unexpectedly well, but now it was hard to remember that. The only thing that she was sure of was that there was a burning rage inside of her that refused to die down. 

“Are you fucking kidding me?” The witch barely ever cursed, but she lost count of all of the ‘bad words’ that she already used at the ball. “That’s really rich coming from you.” Lia spat back. Deep, deep down she did not mean any of it, but she would not take those words back. She could not take them back and even if she wanted to know why, she did not think that she would have enough strength to control her anger long enough to do it. 

It felt like she didn’t have any control over what she said and did; almost like someone else was deciding her actions for her and she was nothing more than a puppet. Her mind mostly knew what she wanted to say, but as soon as her mouth opened something else would fall out and the unfamiliar feeling of anger would grow even stronger. What was wrong with her?

Dark hazel eyes blinked a couple of times at the other girl’s words, not quite believing that she was actually getting cursed at and wanting to rise up instead of cower back down like she usually would have. “And what do you really know about me, huh?” Her hand closed around the glass she was holding, feeling like it was practically about to splinter her skin to shreds.

“I’m not lying to you” he really wasn’t, he shouldn’t probably be angry at her thinking he did, it was such a small thing. But that night he was different, he was getting mad at every single thing, he wondered what was happening, and whatever it was, he wondered if it was affecting other people too, and if it was affecting them the same way it was affecting him, a bunch of angry people in one place, could be bad.

“Considering I blatantly saw you, you are.” Now it was the lying getting to her, not the staring. It was like the tiniest of things were getting on her nerves tonight. Faye lifted her drink to her lips and downed the rest of it; hoping for some kind of relaxation and not a stimulant. For some reason unlike any other day if she were happened to be stuck in confrontation, she didn’t get up and leave and instead pushed.

“Who said I was starting at you?” he didn’t know what have gotten into him,  but he was getting annoyed with the smallest things, he was drunk, but it probably wasn’t because of that, since he wasn’t an angry!drunk, he was a flirty one. Maybe it was the day, maybe was because that day is hard for him, he wasn’t sure why, but he was getting angry very easily. “You shouldn’t assume things like that, I wasn’t looking at you”

Dark eyes regarded him through the mask. “I saw it. Why would you lie to me?” A glimpse of hurt traveled through an otherwise furious voice. Faye didn’t know why she was making a big deal out of something so small, but it occurred to her that his tone was nothing like the honey-coated one he had when she first met him. Maybe this night was affecting more than just her.

“Excuse me?” 

Amelia made a face at the girl and her annoyance was evident on her features, even if she could not explain why she reacted so harshly. Faye was a part of her own coven - she was important to the witch and she never treated people she cared about the way she did tonight… but as strange as it was, there was not a thing that she could do about it. Any attempt only seemed to increase her anger.

“You’re the one that drifted off and didn’t answer my question. I won’t apologize for waiting!” She declared, slamming her glass onto the counter before she crossed her arms. 

Hell, she really should have stayed at home tonight! This ball sucked. 

Faye had to bite her tongue in order to stop herself from spilling any more harsh words; maybe some that would do even more damage. It occurred to her through a fuzzy mind that this behaviour was unlike Amelia, too. Still, she wasn’t in the right head to conjure up a good enough answer to why that could be.

“Maybe you should have made your chat a little more exciting, then.” Neither of them were really like this, and it probably would have been best for everyone if they sat down and discussed quietly what was going on. They were understanding people, weren’t they? But how were they supposed to do that when they didn’t even know where the anger was coming from?

Lexi had been certain the feelings rising inside of her would pass. Too much bubbly, not enough, a pathetic amount of insanity, maybe, was what it all chalked up to. It’s what she kept telling herself…But that didn’t seem to be the case anymore. The moon continued to rise, and somehow Lexi felt more and more overheated, drawn to every figure in the room that had an ounce of notable beauty. 

That dizziness persisted, that diluted her more complex thoughts and questions. Even when she’d taken to the halls to take some sort of breather, her gaze found a pretty girl. First she’d noted her dress, then the body in it, and no matter how ‘open minded’ she was, the newborn was certain she wasn’t supposed to be craving any pretty female this intensely. When Faye called her out on her gawking, Lexi blushed and tore her eyes away. “S-Sorry. I just I..” Lexi let out a heavy sigh and stared at the ceiling like it was the most interesting thing in the room. 

“You’re distracting.” The words left her lips more for herself than for the witch in question, but they were spoken loud enough to be heard, much to Lexi’s chagrin. 

It was incredibly odd for the girl to feel any traces of anger at all, never mind so quickly. All because of something so simple as a stare; something that would have any other day had the submissive girl cowering and unsure of what to do. She didn’t feel much like that submissive girl right then. More like a ball of annoyance turned into energy and waiting until the perfect moment came along to snap. Part of her now wished she had come to this event with someone because of these growing feelings and lack of control. Of course, Faye had no such luck.

For some reason, the other girl seemed to be resembling what she would have been like on any other occassion. The witch could not for the life of her make sense of the blushing or the stammering words, putting it all down to being caught in the act. In her current state, Faye couldn’t take the comment as anything other than an insult. Maybe a shout to her true innocent personality; distracting could only mean one thing. ”Distracting?” The girl huffed, arms crossing over a sight chest. “But I’m not doing anything.” Actually, she had wandered out into the halls to try and stop herself from breaking out into a rage.

Faye didn’t feel right. Different enough to know something was wrong, yet annoyed enough not to be able to find the energy to do something about it. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun, she was dressed in an extravagant white dress she had only been able to wear on one special occasion before. A glittering mask covered her face partially as she glanced down at the glass of wine in her hand. Maybe that was what was making her mood so odd? The witch was going to blame it on the alcohol anyway. Attempting to place a wayward strand of hair behind an ear, her gaze fell on another's that never seemed to be glancing away from her. “Hey, can I get you a picture or something?” An attitude which didn’t match her appearance falling from rosy lips.

Amber keeps her gaze on the other female, but she doesn’t expect her to admit so freely that she is a witch. At first the blonde tries not wrinkle her nose, because she really is wary and not so fond of them. Yet Tatiana crosses her mind and Amber knows there are good and bad ones just like there are with any supernatural species. “That explains why you can’t leave then….” Her expression shows she is lost in thought for a moment and then her brow raises. “So do you know who is responsible for this boundary spell?…or know who might be?” WIth a deadpan expression, she steps forwards before Faye gives her answer. “I’m a werewolf.” She figures by what she has been doing, that the other female will have at least guessed something.

Feeling quite anxious under a watchful gaze, Faye tried not to fidget. To come off as nervous would not be good, and the girl got the idea that the blonde was a great deal more confident than herself. She didn’t wish to look like a squirmy little fool, which was how she felt most of the time with presences so bold compared to her own. Her eyebrows raised once the girl voiced that what they’re dealing with is in fact a boundary spell, but why? Unfortunately, her magic was not strong enough to be able to tell who put it there. “I don’t. I’ve been incredibly out of the loop lately and have missed quite a few things.” If it had been Tati or any other member of her coven, she didn’t know yet.

“Charming, perhaps… I won’t fight you on that.” He knew what he was worth, after all. “But too charming? I had no idea there was such a thing.” She probably wasn’t that worried about him. Maybe she was worried he would tell her truths she did not want to hear. “Come on love… you are trying to do everything to talk yourself down. Surely you must be worth more than that.”

If she were any other girl, Faye would have rolled her eyes. Only she didn’t and wouldn’t want him to take it the wrong way. To be seen as unpolite was like some kind of crime to her, and she didn’t want it. “But there is such a thing as people using their charms to get what they want, not that you are.” Despite her naivety, she wasn’t completely oblivious. She knew bad people were out there, but it was more of an unrealistic fantasy to think she could come face to face with one. “I believe I’m worthy of sorts. Just not otherworldly.” Though maybe that was a lie, too.

“I think it would be wisest to go home,” He answered, because he was not interested on sitting on a bench with a strange girl while the fireworks set him off. He was not interested in losing control. 

“Of course,” She nodded. “Would you like me to walk with you halfway?” A grown man probably wouldn’t appreciate her asking, but Faye was only trying to help.

Ambers brow furrows and she looks at the other female, shooting her a displeased expression. Though for all of her own irritability with certain issues lately, the young blonde can’t help but pick up on the quiet and seemingly placid nature of the other girl.

“It’s fine okay…” Her expression softens slightly and she watches the female try and move the box over the boundary. When she can’t, Amber crosses her arms and just stares at her.

“In that case…what do you know about the supernatural…are you one?” She has already picked up by scent that the girl isn’t a werewolf or vampire.

For a moment Faye just stood there, feeling awkward beyond belief and waiting for the girl to give her some kind of sign. Maybe even to just tell her what this meant upfront. The brunette should have known that she would have no such luck. Still a little taken aback by the question despite already knowing that this had to have something to do with magic, she blinked a little. It wasn’t hard for her to tell that the girl was other than human, so for once she decided to take the risk and go with it. “A witch.”

“But what?”, he challenged her. He wasn’t the one for false compliments and he didn’t like them either. “But is it something you’re not or something you might be but are too afraid to admit you are?”

“I’m not sure.” She folded her arms across her chest; narrowed eyes at him. “Just too charming for your own good, probably.” Or did she mean for everyone else’s good? Now she was feeling strangely defensive. “If that is the case, I don’t know what that thing is.”
