just played and 100%'d critters for sale. I need.... I need to get back into occultism. XD

I'd say the game was using occult & religious (and... conspiracy theory? sci-fi? new age?) imagery to build on its artistic vision/story rather than say anything spiritual (for our irl world). Still made me feel feelings, which the soundtrack was mostly responsible for.

It was like a psychedelic trip meant for chilling and exploring a different world rather than drawing insights, which has its own merit and depth for the artistic/emotional/aesthetic values. Can't wait for new games to expand the lore.
