its good to acknoweldge the hollowness of revenge but sometimes you really do just need a story about someone who gets hurt and then kills and kills and kills and kills their enemies. its cathartic, babey.
"there's nothing that can bring my loved one back, so there's no point in killing you" and "there's nothing that can bring my loved one back, so there's nothing that can save you" are two themes that can and should co-exist
"nothing will ever undo what you did to me, so killing you solves nothing" and "nothing will ever undo what you did to me, but at least i can make sure you won't do it to anyone else" are also themes that can and should co-exist
For a lifetime...

I am honestly gonna be so obnoxious this pride month idgaf. I love making conservative republicans uncomfortable by being proudly queer and glittery and also my usual witchy self. I love being a childless cat lady who would rather gouge my eyes out with a plastic spoon than live my life like they do.
At the same time, I respect their right to believe and feel however they do. Because I still believe everyone has the right to live how they choose. Wild concept, I am such a radically pro trans pro choice purple haired lib and I still want them to live how they want even if I disagree. Woooooow.
Jokes aside, being hetero is sad and boring imo but no one will ever come for your rights or threaten your life over it :)
Happy Pride Month, yâall
a 90âs kid? donât you mean sad adult?
70,000 people have reblogged this but no one is trying to defend themselves
love the end of the two towers where gandalf looks into the sunset talking bout "yea frodo had to go it alone it was his destiny and there is no changing it he will be ok đâ¨" and aragorn is like "sam went with him btw" and gandalf is like "oh fuck thank god"
Once when I was in undergrad, someone described something as âproblematicâ in class and our professor was like, âThatâs cool, but âproblematicâ doesnât really mean anything. It means that the thing youâre describing has a problem, and in and of itself thatâs not bad. Art, especially, should always have problems, or else itâs not interesting and not art, either. It sounds like youâre trying to say that this is bad, but you donât want to say âbad.â Is that right?â
So from then on whenever one of us called something problematic, he would make us talk it out until we could name the âbadâ thing we were hinting at. In this particular class, 7/10 it was some type of oppression, and the remainder was like, âIâm uncomfortable because this is very new/confusing/pushing boundaries that made me feel safe.â
Once we stopped calling things âproblematicâ and stopping at that, class got way more interesting and... we all had to say, like, âthatâs racistâ or âthatâs misogynisticâ or âew capitalism grossâ out loud, which a lot of us had never done in a classroom before. Or we had to be like, âUhhh... Iâm not sure whatâs so bad?â and confront our own beliefs and that was maybe even more useful.
Anyway. Whenever I see the word problematic, I canât help but think of this professor being like, âGood starting point, now letâs get specific.â I think when we have to commit to saying âthatâs ___â it requires a lot more careful thought about the truth and impact and complexities of whatever weâre claiming. Sometimes there really is some bullshit afoot, and also sometimes itâs art, and it should be full of problems, because thatâs what art is.

when you see your little kitty walking toward you at a leisurely pace and say "hi baby!" bc you're excited to see her and she starts trotting a little bit faster 'cause she's excited to see you too. that's what life is all about i think
Iâm so proud of people living with chronic health conditions. That shit is HARD. Idk who needs to hear this, but if no one else has said it: Iâm proud of you. Youâre sticking it out through so much pain and grief. Thatâs no small feat.
Every small thing you do for yourself health adds up. The grief is heavy and it comes from a place of love. The grief knows the pain is wronging you.
Iâm proud of you. I hope on the good days you can be proud of yourself.
Keep going.
