Wanted to do an ‘about me’ post that I’ll probably edit over time, and wanted to add here for context about my page:

- I’ve been practicing witchcraft for as long as I can remember. My major influences are all family history related: Irish Gypsy (yes, we use that term to describe ourselves, and I won’t be offended if you use that term when talking abt me), Viking, Appalachia, and Catholicism (saints and angels).

- I do mostly divination, candle spells, sigil work, banishing, protection, and manifestation.

- I don’t follow the Three-fold Law. My personal philosophy is that if you try to manifest or do a spell that goes against destiny and/or free will, then karma will punish you by essentially doing the reverse of what you want.

- I won’t appropriate other spiritual cultures, but if my friends who practice those things gift me something that they want me to use (for example, I have friends that practice Voodoo and Hoodoo) I’ll use the items they’ve gifted me.

- the Hudcon of it all: their energy really drew me in, which is why I read abt them and do protection spells for them (they both desperately need protection bc ppl are batshit). I believe they are soulmates and are destined to be together in every lifetime, and any time they don’t end up together, fate puts their souls into another life to try again. As a reader, I am not one to get smug if I’m right abt a reading, or upset if I’m wrong. I very much do my readings from a clinical point of view, and with the understanding that things are not set in stone, and destiny and free will are always going to be there.

- If you send me nasty anons or anons where you’re clearly spamming every reader or hudcon blog on here, I’ll block you without answering. Remember that tumblr blocks your account even if you’re using anon, so decide if that weird message is really worth it.

- I very much feel that there are some readers on here that are not doing their readings from an honest place. They are letting their personal bias influence their energy, they act mysterious for no reason, get upset when they’re wrong, and act like they are god when they’re right. I have no desire to talk abt those particular readers or analyze their readings, so if you send me messages abt them I just won’t respond.

- I love to do witchcraft and card reading book recommendations, especially for ppl who are just starting out with their craft and don’t know where to begin, so never hesitate to message me with questions abt witchcraft or card reading. I’m always happy to answer and provide recommendations on books, tools, and cards.

- I’m also on twitter and have the same name on there. I’m very active on there for fandom but active on here for card readings and other witch stuff. My readings and explanations will only ever be on tumblr.

Yesterday I did my personal reading about how to improve my intuition, and meditation did come up as one of the things I could incorporate. I thought about that, and I really would love to try short meditations before doing a tarot or oracle reading, but I seriously have never been able to meditate. I feel like the stress of trying would mess with my energy and ability to read even more. I think I am going to try an alternative that I KNOW works for me, which is doing hobbies or tasks that relax me completely:

- Walking outside

- Cleaning

- Organizing things

- Listening to music while walking around

- Yoga

- Coloring while listening to true scary stories (yes I know that’s a weird one, but it does actually relax me)

I’m going to do something on this list each time I’m about to do a reading, and see if that improves my ability to be open to challenging energies. It’s more important to me to be aware of my limitations and pivot to try to improve using other methods, as opposed to forcing myself to do something I know I don’t like/am not good at. I think it’s especially important to accept that when it involves doing a task that requires my energy to be as relaxed and open as possible.

June 7th - 13th

Seven of Swords + Page of Pentacles - Both are being strategic especially when it comes to their careers. There is dishonesty or lies being spread that is creating a deception surrounding them. With the page of pentacles though there’s a plan to create stability, security and trust, putting in an effort to disprove the dishonesty and deception.

The Lovers + The Chariot - These cards are giving Hudson and making a decision between two opposing factions in his life. He’s relying on Connor and their connection to go through this and create a harmony within himself, and this is mutual Connor also relies on Hudson in difficult points in his life as well with the chariot, they’re both determined and ready to overcome these challenges together they’re being clear on what action to take and how to do it.

Wheel of Fortune - What they’re going through right now is moving the wheel towards growth and change. Things are entering a new phase as good and bad things happen even though things might be rocky for them. There’s good that’s going to come later. Things are changing for them, as well as turning points that will shake their journey into something easier.

Clover - Both are hopeful, wanting to take a chance about commitment and excitement. They are at a sense of ease and might have a surprise for one another.

Ring + Sun - Their connection is committed and being recognized for what it is, a fruitful union leading to success. Between them this connection brings stability, warmth, and happiness. Beginnings with be illuminated possibly with a photo that comes out.

June 14th - 20th

Justice + The Magician Rx - There’s a truth and balance that’s gonna bring clarity and honesty towards their connection. They are investing themselves into this connection and are wanting to show it. With the magician Rx an illusion of some kind is going to be broken either between them or with the public.

Ace of Cups + Queen of Cups - They’re both experiencing a deepening of their connection emotions are overflowing and flowing freely. This is a time for emotional renewal and compassion for them that will invite openness. With the queen of cups they both look upon each other with empathy and emotional depth. There’s a lot of encouragement in love towards each other. Communication is strong as they navigate through this point in the month. 

King of Cups - Both have extreme loyalty to each other. They need to create a balance with their emotions and how to navigate things. Weather connection is filled with emotional maturity and respect. Sometimes they can forget about the people that surround them. Towards the end of the month they’ll have more of a mindfulness of this balance and make it more secure.

Ship - They are wanting to take a risk that create movement with the public wanting to change narratives more, guiding it themselves.

Ring + Owls - This is a time of observation for their connection. Important information is communicated between that being stability and trust as they venture their committed connection. They both are analyzing situations with a close eye.

Book + Bouquet + Garden - Their connection/relationship will be shown to the public. Making it public knowledge of a secret that is filled with warmth and joy. Possibly a public meeting will take place between them.

Knight of Wands + King of Wands - They are both moving with enthusiasm and passion. There are some impulses that they want to act on with excitement, but knowing not to get too carried away, there’s an adventure here that brings endless energy and wanting them to be bold.

Heyy, idk if it’s okay to ask this but I remember asking someone about it and didn’t get an answer.

I’ve read a lot of tarot readers sometimes get that things between H and her are not so good. And we know her friends and her get readings done. I assume every tarotist interprets differently, and assuming she asks about them, would she get maybe the same response as we’re getting??

That’s a good question. I think you’re asking if K gets readings done, is she getting the same answers we are? I am assuming that if she’s going to an ethical reader, then she’s likely getting either the same or very similar readings to what we are giving, just from a different perspective. It would also depend how she’s framing her questions. So let’s say she goes to a reader and asks abt what to expect from this “relationship” in the near future and the reader gets death as one of the cards, the reader is going to interpret that as an ending and rebirth for K, because she’s reading for K. If I am doing a reading on Hudson and get the death card, I would interpret it as an ending and rebirth for him. Any cards that follow would be specific to the querent. So the death card would be for the “relationship” itself but it would be from the specific perspective, so K may get the fool for a new journey she needs to begin whereas Hudson might get something like the lovers or two of cups for Connor.

How do you frame your questions when doing a reading? I can't seem to ask the right questions (?) Cause sometimes I'd pull a card that doesn't seem to make sense on my question..

That’s actually such a great question and I had the exact same issue when I started learning to read with tarot (oracle too). I learned how to do card readings with regular playing cards and my irish gypsy family history very much influenced how myself and others in our family would do questions, because we’d word it like fortune tellers and be extremely specific, because we were usually getting asked to read on something specific. Like “am I going to get the job I interviewed for last week?” “Who is my husband cheating on me with?”, that kind of thing.

When I started using tarot and oracle decks, I basically had to unlearn how I read before because while you shouldn’t be vague, you do need to keep things open. This is going to sound weird, but the way I approach card readings now is to ask something like I’m a talk therapist, using open ended questions like “what would you like to tell me about hudcon?”, “what can we expect from the CSAs?”, “Will there be more career opportunities for hudcon this year?”.

A good example of how I’d do a reading: I know a lot of ppl are wondering if Hudson is going to see Connor in Atlanta this weekend. Instead of asking “Will Hudson see Connor in Atlanta this weekend?” I would instead ask “can you tell me anything about Hudson seeing Connor soon?”.

Leaving questions open-ended and asking the cards instead of commanding the cards can really open up the reading to a much more detailed message, so it’ll be easier to understand those cards that don’t necessarily fit within the primary framework of what you are asking, but provide a better level of detail to the answer itself.

do you do anything before doing a reading with a brand new deck? Anything to cleanse it or harness the energy?

Hello! I do actually. I use selenite to cleanse the deck, and then I continue to do that each time I use it. I have one with the Celtic tree of life etched into it that is my favorite to use, but sometimes ppl that create the decks or sell them will include a piece of selenite with the deck, so I’ll use the one that came with the cards. Clear quartz can also be used. Both selenite and clear quartz will cleanse the deck, but selenite is better if you’re trying to connect with any guides or ancestors during a reading and clear quartz is good if you’re wanting to basically charge up the energy as much as possible.

I’m actually glad you asked this bc you gave me an idea. I think I’m going to use clear quartz when I’m doing readings on energies that are harder to read for me.

Some ppl use smoke cleansing, bells, incense, moonlight (like putting the deck in the path of the moonlight on a full moon), even cleansing candles. Really there are a variety of ways to do it. If you end up connecting more with one way of doing things than another, I would recommend sticking with that. I originally thought I’d be more of a smoke cleanser, just because I tend to gravitate toward things that involve burning, but then I realized that I preferred efficiency when doing card readings and when I’d do something like use sage smoke to cleanse the deck I’d get all stressed out abt how time consuming it was. Then I read abt selenite and it was like a whole new world for me. Got things done quickly and no mess to clean up, so my energy was fully focused on the reading.

I went way too long with this answer, but the short of it is that it’s always smart to cleanse a new deck, but it’s a good idea to cleanse it going forward, and find whatever method resonates best with you and doesn’t deplete your energy. 🔮🕯️💜🤗

I mentioned earlier this week that I wanted to do some research on tarot and/or oracle spreads that might help me figure out what I’m missing with my reading methods currently. I found a good one on Pinterest and decided to use a tarot deck for this one:

Spread: Trust Your Intuition Spread

Card 1: A message from my inner knowing: Page of Swords - new ideas, witty, chatty, curiosity, communicative, confidence, inspiration, fairness, mental agility.

Card 2: What’s clouding my intuition right now?: Four of Cups - depression, missed opportunities, blind spot, feeling disconnected, meditation, contemplation, boredom, reevaluation.

Card 3: How can i strengthen my intuition?: The Hierophant (reversed) - rebellion, personal beliefs, free thinker, new approaches, subversion.

My thoughts: all three cards made sense to me. For card 1, I do think I take a logical approach to card reading and try to be as fair as possible with my reading abilities. And I’m always willing to learn more and improve. I think card 2 was spot on about my current issue(s). I’m missing things in my reading bc I need to be open to other energies even if they aren’t the primary part of the read, and that lack of openness is creating blind spots for me. It’s interesting that ‘meditation’ was one of the key words for card 2, because I’ve been thinking over the past few days that maybe I should try meditating before reads even though I’m terrible at it. For card 3, obviously a new approach is very much the key here, but I think the rest of the message of the card was telling me to not be self-limiting in my new approaches. Like I really need to be open to fresh ideas and methods even if it’s not how I’ve done things before. Trying new things doesn’t mean I’m not staying true to my original strengths, just that it might broaden my horizons for the better.

I’m happy I did this reading and it reaffirms some ideas I had and also gave me some new info to ponder. I do plan on continuing to do ongoing intuition readings/exercises. To me, it’s like if you’re trying to eat healthier. You don’t have a side of vegetables at dinner one day and then never again…you keep eating the vegetables to reach that long term goal of being healthier and staying that way. So for me, continuing to do intuition exercises will help me to keep strengthening that area and benefit my reading in the long run.

So respectfully, yes, we all have our opinions about the Situation. We all have different, valid interpretations. But one thing you will never do is convince me that he doesn’t wake up every single day loving that man, and making the active choice to share his love for him where all of us can see it.

He’s not even private about it. For as much as they share only with each other, he still carves out time to make sure that we know how much he thinks about him, and that his world and his universe would grind to a halt without Connor in it. Do you think this is it, no more k appearances (not just in public stuff, but on social media too)?

I think no, based on vibes and the readings I have done where she’s popped up. I also think from a purely PR perspective that we won’t see her at events anymore. I don’t know if you guys remember when A Star is Born was being promoted everywhere and was nominated for basically every movie-related award show…but rumors were swirling that Bradley and Irina were already over but she stayed on for the awards season because it was better for his PR. Once the major awards were over she was out. I can kind of see something similar happening here where now that awards season is over we will see the wrap up of this PR and will maybe get a sprinkle of speculation here and there before it goes out completely and then we will get an interview w Hudson months from now where they mention he’s “single”.

I do plan on doing a reading on it, but I’ve got so much going on this weekend (homeownership is not for the weak when you are doing everything yourself 😱. They know me by name at Lowe’s now), but I will do one soon. I have K related readings that ppl have requested too, so I’ll post each one here when I get it done.

That definitely aligns with the vibes I get from her. I’d definitely love to do a full reading on Bailey at some point bc she exudes such warm and grounded energy and I really dig that.
