your-best-friend-flowey:
His hands traced the lines, watching them converge far into the distance. It was all coming to a point. It was there, that his best friend lie in wait.
With two humans trailing behind him, the boss monster hovered in the VOID, unburdened by the need to rationalize the happenings and occurrences here.
Time was ticking in the distance. Second by second, the sphere was becoming more and more dense. The light of the STAR was all but blinding. But he waited, inspecting the situation. He didn’t know how much time he had left, but Asriel wasn’t about to wander aimlessly into this mess.
* We’re here!
* All this way, because of you two.
* Because you’re hurting. Isn’t that it?
* This is the weight of all it.
* The guilt on your shoulders that threatens to eat you alive. That threatens to pull you two and everything around it until there’s nothing left.
* You’ve been trying to show us this, haven’t you?
The humans of determination had followed Asriel, walking along a small gray path through infinite nothings. There was little other than the strands themselves to prove that they had even taken a step in the right direction. For how long had it seemed that they were stranded in the darkness?
But before they could doubt themselves, that red glow shone across the horizon. A star in the distance, for them triangulate the coordinates. To contain and to safeguard the lives within, that was their goal.
DT approaches, hands in their pockets. Asriel’s talking already.
🟄 Hey, Arbiter.
🟄 Right now, they can’t hear you.
Angel starts walking away from the group, around the star, inspecting it.
* …So, in order to let the doc actually get them out of there, we need to set up around the giant pulsating death star.
🟄 But at the same time, we’ll need to make sure that when we get them, that we don’t bring the entire star with us.
* Are you factoring in for the possibility that they might be slightly above or below us?
🟄 No, that will get cut off when we translate the horizontal slice. We still need as much of the star itself cut off, though. Or else we risk exploding as soon as the surface tension of this thing bursts.
With such, the two humans begin to take up points around the circumference of the sphere.
The prince looks slightly crestfallen, but follows suit. The energy causes the hairs of their bodies to stand on end. The heat is nearly unbearable. If they hadn’t been feeling it in the void earlier, by now it was pulsating around each of them.
It was only their hope that the two fallen humans would be blind to their movements, outside their condensing coffin.
The sound of static was thick in the air. The void was devoid of life, yet this pulsing ball of DETERMINATION crackled the air like a rolling thunder. It’s pulsing and turmoil resounded in the quadrant like a dense and panicked heartbeat. Two opposite sides of the coin inside one losing hope and one letting irrationality take hold and drive her further into madness.
Charise had been waiting.. hoping that anyone could hear her outside of this dense pulsing prison. It wasn’t possible.. the sound of cracking stress was building and Cherry’s lack of HOPE only seemed to fuel it, causing it to pulse and thrum.
There was electricity flowing around them, Cherry’s head was pulsing, it was an increasing pain that was drowning her thoughts. She wanted it to end.. she wanted it to stop. She just wanted to sleep and not awaken again.
Then there was Red. She’d taken up the Mantle of RED STAR again, the strings held on Cherry’s SOUL forever in her grasp, she tugs them harder only further coveting the negative feelings that had fueled the dense ball of hatred that was going to implode from themselves.
It was beginning to condense and twitch. If they didn’t act soon... They two LOST SOULS would be LOST for good.
Electricity strikes around the now condensing ball.. the role of thunder follows it. Time was slowly running out for them.
What will you do?
