Marla Rose v. Nick Fuentes

Sometime after that he was doxxed.
Nov 10 2024. Marla goes to Nicks home, rings the doorbell. This is when Nick opened the door, pepper sprayed her, and pushed her down the stairs (breaking 6 of her ribs). He also broke her phone during this incident.
(for more background since I feel it’s necessary, Marla had not intended to ring Nick’s doorbell that day. She only went up after being encouraged to by another woman, at the time they were unsure that it was actually Nicks residence.)

Nov 10 2024. A separate woman witnessed this all and called police. Rose was still on scene when police arrived and spoke to her and Fuentes separately.
Nov 10 2024. Nick told police he'd been receiving death threats after posting a political joke online and was in fear of his life. He became uncooperative and refused to address further with the officer.
Law enforcement originally hesitated to file charges against Fuentes. Citing Rose was trespassing and alleged intent to instigate trouble.
After pressure from Rose and her supporters, prosecutors reviewed evidence and issued charges against Fuentes.
Nov 27 2024. Fuentes was arrested and was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery, he was released the same day.
Court was delayed several times throughout 2025
Fall 2025. Fuentes agreed to a Deferred Prosecution ; (this is a legal agreement which postpones criminal prosecution in exchange for the defendant fulfilling conditions by certain date). Upon his agreement includes attending anger management, completing 75 hours of community service, writing an apology and compensating Rose 635$ for her phone. By Jan 23 2026,
Jan 23 2026. The case was supposed to be heard but all court cases were cancelled due to the extreme cold.
Feb. 27 2026. Rescheduled date. Fuentes was not there in person since they weren't able to get the security they needed.
Feb 27 2026. Rose received the compensation for the phone and read an apology letter from Fuentes. Community service had still not been completed and he was given a 2 month extension.
April 23 2026. Rose went into the courtroom expecting that it would go to trial, after Rose spoke with a state attorney who believed she could win the case based on the evidence but it would not be worth it in terms of personal cost.
April 23 2026. Fuentes attended via Zoom. 75 hours of community service had still not been completed, Rose also said her attorney saw no record of Fuentes completing his anger management. Since Fuentes does not have a prior criminal record, at best he would get a slap on the wrist so she dropped the charges.
April 23 2026. Rose is now bringing Fuentes to civil court, with a hearing set for April 28 2026.
Rose seeks $10,000 from Fuentes for emotional and physical damages from the November 2024 incident as well as to cover the cost of the security system she said her family purchased following threats.
