i realized as i was putting them into showdown that the stats on a couple of my pokemon were weird so i needed to fix that before i finalized them. but! now that they're fixed! here we have jay's super cool pokemon champions regulation m-b team! it's gotten me to ultra ball rank and climbing, which is the farthest i've gone so far so i thought it'd be fun to break it down and explain everyone

This is the team I bring to a majority of matches. I lead with Tailwind Corviknight/Mega Blaziken and bring Torkoal/Farigiraf in the back. This is a speed-flexible team, and how I play it depends a lot on the matchup- sometimes I can sit with the birds for a while and set up a speedy sweep, other times I have to fight a weather war and switch around a lot with Torkoal, and sometimes I have to pivot into trick room with Farigiraf. Even a nice sun combination with Torkoal and Blaziken can work when I'm not worried about speed at all. If I'm worried about speed, I can always bring Farigiraf in the lead to handle opposing trick room setters, or to set my own trick room with Torkoal. Like I said, because this version of the team is pretty flexible, it's what I bring to most matches.
But Jay, I hear you saying, there are two more Pokemon on your team. It's true. They're my favorite part and why I'm making this post. Welcome to kitty cat princess land.
The alternative version of this team leads with Primarina and Meowstic male. The back depends a bit on the opponents, usually Farigiraf and Torkoal, but don't worry- if everything goes to plan you won't need the other two. This is a hard trick room team, and Primarina is our sweeper. The most important thing is to pick an opponent you're confident he can sweep. Kitty cat princess land is best when the team has a lot of dragon type threats such as Dragonite, Garchomp, Charizard or Archaludon (I know what you may be thinking, but hear me out), and/or fire types. The other key to a good kitty cat princess team is one that you know is going to rely on weather. You may see signs such as Charizard, Pelipper, or Froslass. These are the perfect subjects. This is because we have brought Meowstic with the weather.
While Primarina is here to sweep, Meowstic is here to ruin every weather setter's day. In an ideal world, he sets up trick room turn one and then rain turn two for maximum round or sparkling aria damage, but he need not die so early if he's not in mortal danger! Many a fool won't even bother to attack Meowstic early on, and a well timed protect on Primarina can earn you a free turn of setup. If this is the case and you find yourself with a still-healthy duo and your setup complete, as I often do, then you have entered the Real Fun.
Sometimes you'll encounter people who try to use multiple weather strategies at once, likely to beat people like me who are trying to outsmart them by switching in Torkoal to set weather up later or to take advantage of the rain I set up for Primarina. This is where Meowstic gets silly with it. As soon as you see your opponent preparing to use the weather you have up you simply change it. Sunny day time. Primarina doesn't care it's dazzling gleam city. You can do this as many times as you want as long as you can correctly read what the opponent will do. I swept a team running Archaludon, Dragonite, and Mega Charizard Y without Primarina taking a single point of damage like this.
