AAAHHHHHHHH I FUCKING LOVE BUTCHER VANITY!!!! I can definitely see it for Cody × Jacob but I think it would work better with a more aggressive pairing like Bron × Jacob or Dean × Bron.
I propose The Dismemberment Song by Blue Kid for Cody × Jacob. It's the same sorta flavor as Butcher Vanity, but more soft and romantic while still having the same feeling of obsession for their partner.

After any fight Cody has—unless Cody rocked the other guy's shit—Jacob spends way too long checking on Cody. If Cody says he's in any amount of pain, no matter how slight, Jacob basically forces Cody to lean on him for support while he walks him back to his bus. If Cody’s leg hurts, Jacob will carry him; Jacob doesn't care how silly and extra he looks while doing it, he'll mean-mug anyone who glances at them as he walks past.
The family kind of have a "don't ask, don't tell" silent type of agreement about Jacob and Cody’s relationship. Early on after Jacob officially came out, when anyone asked about the two, Jacob huffed, crossed his arms, and said "what about it?" No one wanted to risk accidentally starting a big fight even though no one had a problem, so they just stopped bringing it up to him.
Jacob is terrible with gifts; it's a "what do you get the man who has everything?" problem.
Jacob sleeps on top of Cody.
Jacob's love language is physical touch.
Jacob likes listening to Cody read. He doesn't pay attention to the actual story a lot of the time; he just likes hearing his normal voice when Cody isn't preforming for his fans + he secretly thinks his lisp is cute.

Cody likes to give Jacob a kiss for good luck before almost every match. Jacob insisted that he doesn't need it, so Cody stopped. Over the next couple weeks, before just before one of Jacob’s fights, he would wait for an extra couple of seconds in front of Cody before leaving. Cody eventually realized and pulled Jacob in for a kiss before he left. Jacob leaned way into it to make up for all the times before.
Unlike Jacob, Cody loves talking about his boyfriend. Like immediately after they were open about their relationship, Jey interrogated Cody to make sure Jacob was treating him right, and he was way taken aback when Cody raved on about how caring Jacob is.

Getting into regression + Shiloh rarepair territory:
Biting and sniffing is a big part of Jacob’s love language. Sometimes after Cody is really sweaty after a fight—after Jacob triple checks he's not seriously injured, of course—Jacob likes to hold him close and smell him.
A regressed Jacob likes to lay Cody on the bed and nip his bare chest as a playful attempt at devouring. Cody wants to be able to tolerate it for Jacob, but Jacob usually ends up losing himself and starts getting too rough with it. He wants his "prey" to fight back basically, and that's Shiloh's job.
Shiloh and a wolf Jacob often are covered in at least a little bit of blood after playing. Cody learned to just accept that fact and stop freaking out every time.
Shiloh is Jacob’s go-to when somethings on his mind; he weirdly understands Shiloh's abstract and almost nonsense advice.
Jacob was really unsure about asking for any toys for when he's regressed until he started hanging out with Bron.
Remembering the time I told my readers—because, at the time, there was some gang & drug disputes between my family and the neighbors that ended in an unrelated drive-by fatality—to "just assume I've been killed in some kind of revenge attack," and proceed to immediately dissappear from Ao3 for 3 months and counting cus this chapter is a nightmare to write
