Zero Kama was the industrial project of Zoe DeWitt, a trans woman from Austria with a background in visual art and a strong interest in the occult. Her only full-length album as Zero Kama, 1984's The Secret Eye of L.A.Y.L.A.H., was recorded entirely using instruments Zoe crafted out of real human bones and skulls.

She still performs to this day under various monikers in addition to being a painter and performance artist.
