february is my favorite month. i’m not sure if its because i was born in it... or because its the shortest month- but it makes me think about our finitude. and maybe its every year that we don’t have that extra day that i kick rocks and sigh thinkin about this blue sphere doin rings around the sun hopin for a lil more time or somethin. the lights comin back. and the songbirds too.

this is a picture my landmate took of me the day after my 27th birthday shootin the pumpkin we never carved full of 22s.

theres a lot goin down right now and it feels really big. i’m trying to work on the space between self care and outward facing work. there is a lot to learn. a lot of ways to show care and empathy. a lot of ways to be brave. i think i can do it. i know we can do it together.
