Busy, busy.
I like to be busy.
I work full time, study part time, I cook, I clean, I got married, I read (for fun) and I’m now trying to get fit and healthy.
I don’t have time for time wasters and excuse makers.
Get it together! If I can do it, anyone can do it!

I went to the gym yesterday. Which I know to most people is not that much of an accomplishment, but what can you do?
I did my record, 5 minutes on an exercise bike and still fail at using the leg press.
To most people, this is pretty pathetic. But actually, 13 months ago I had my kneecap removed. 5 minutes on the exercise bike is my record. This is the first time I have managed to last that long.
I can put my leg up to actually try and use the leg press. This time last year I couldn’t even lift my leg on my own.
I had to learn to walk again and there are a lot of things that I’m still relearning.
And you know what, I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy….and I don’t even have it that bad. There are people out there way worse off than me.
So today, I am feeling grateful. Grateful for my time at the gym, grateful I can walk, grateful I can play if I want to.
Because do I have a bung knee? Yes, yes I do. But I’m here and I’m living and breathing and healthy – and how amazing is that?
kill me now, this is everything!
Work hard, play hard
I don’t want to be lumped in with millennials. How awful does that sound? I work too hard, I’m too grateful for everything that I do have, I love, I can prioritise and I don’t expect to be given anything.
I hate that I sound like I’m 80 and like I’m bagging a whole generation but there are just too many people, young people, who aren’t willing to make sacrifices, aren’t willing to work hard, to get what they want.
There is so many things I want in my life but I work damn hard to get them. I’m willing to go without so I can get what I want in the end.
I hear so many people around talk about how unfair it is and how wrong everything is and about how they struggle. I AM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT IT !
I simply don’t want to hear it anymore.
If you’re not willing to make sacrifices and work your ass off, then you just don’t want it bad enough.
