WoW Classic Series: Durotar

I’m enjoying replaying Classic again more than I thought I would. I resubbed just to do a few more WoW art pieces, and then committed to a whole new series after falling in love with Classic all over again.

I never tire of the slower pace, the minimal UI, the organic grouping that just happens out in the world and the fun social interactions that ensue, and even the struggles of having a bunch of quest items yet no bag space...😆

I hope my illustrations convey even a little bit of the cozy, nostalgic, and homey feelings I have for this landscape 💗

I've been working on a kind of huge WoW project and what's crazy is I don't even know if I'm going to share it or not. It's been so fun to work on and make and it's sort of like a way to document playing through the Midnight storyline. Idk man, free will is so cool. Did you know you can just make things for fun?! Do you like it/is it correct Ao3 etiquette to comment on a fic you liked even if it’s like, from 2005 and from a fandom long dead? I’ve been tossing and turning about this because I don’t wanna accidentally like, bring back middle school trauma for sonicfan420 on a random Tuesday.

Genuine question: why would you NOT comment on a fic from [number] years ago? Where does this reticence to comment on ‘old’ stuff comes from? Fic doesn’t have a ‘best before’ date.

Do you think that Margaret Atwood, or Stephen King, or Salman Rushdie don’t get fan (e)mail on stuff they wrote years ago?
