It’s confirmed when Hwiyoung asks, “Should I go?”
You’re tempted to say no, to ask him to stay by your side, but at the same time… You know you shouldn’t hold him back. Even though he’s only talked about it once or twice, you know him well enough to see in his eyes just how much he really wants this. And to you, him taking the chance to pursue his dreams is the most important thing.
“Of course, I’d like you to stay, but it’s up to you,” you murmur, snuggling closer to your boyfriend. “I know how much you want this.”
He presses a kiss to your forehead. "I don’t want to leave you,” he whispers softly.
“I’ll still be here waiting.”
“I promise to visit you as much as I can.”
“You better,” you threaten playfully, pointing a finger at him accusingly. “If you don’t…” You pout.
“As if I’d want to miss an opportunity to see my favourite person.” He squeezes you tightly, and intertwines his fingers with yours. “Getting an opportunity? They can come along pretty often. Finding someone to truly love? That’s not as easy.”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
