what's it about? ୭ ˚✧ : on may 5th, 2005, high school senior molly davis is reported missing after a group drug exchange beneath a bridge on the edge of town. what begins as rumor quickly becomes investigation, and in the close-knit community of port washington, suspicion spreads as weeks turn into months with no answers. the last people to see molly alive were four girls who return to their daily lives carrying a secret they agreed never to share.
over the following year, graduation, family pressures, and ordinary young adult milestones unfold alongside mounting guilt and paranoia. each girl attempts to manage the insurmountable guilt in her own way, until a tragedy within the group forces the full truth into the open.
